If you only count in profits from an accountacy standpoint, you're never making any money. You need to cut it out somewhere.

Point simply is nobody would be happy if we bought any of those 4. Let alone pay 50 million for it. Could we have gotten a few million more. Sure, especially for the Mbangula transfer imho but it's not "terrible" business. We lost 4 so-so players (at least at this moment in time - not ignoring their age) and have gotten 50 million for it. Nothing to cheer about, nothing to moan about as a whole.

Yeah, Comolli just said FFP will especially be a problem for the 26-27 season. So we're not off the ice yet, as it seems. So not selling/extending Vlahovic and having to buy another striker will fuck us over.

Not it's def not a succesful business model and with every managerial change, I hope that changes too.

What we need to regain is a position of power. Not having to buy and sell is everything. Look at PSG in the Muani deal. They can continue to ask 60 mil without getting nervous because they simply don't need to sell...

We have another new management in place. It's not even fully there and we've barely spent a penny this summer. So as far as I'm concerned it's completely different to last season.

We've brought David on a Bosman, JM in a profitable swap seal and paid a hefty fee for Conceicao only.

Everybody agrees we've overspent for Nico, Kelly and Koop, I guess. DL probably too but he was great in the Prem 'tho. Cabal was pretty good value for money imo, too bad he got injured.

We have a crazy rich owner 'tho and he has pumped in a lot of money already too. But the mismanagement ruined it.
