They are simply amazing for any kind of training, I enjoy them most when I do squats, lunges and dead lifts (with all its variations). I don't usually do these all alone but combine them with cardio creating functional sessions. They feel excellent on the back and the knees and provide a much better surprising stability. I haven't yet tried them in running (or did any running in general) because I am still suffering my Plantar fasciitis. I will meet a physiotherapist in a week or two and try to fix the problem.
