IF Juve don't appeal it would be disgraceful, though channel4 said he got the red for kicking out at Amoruso like a minute after the time had expired.
He took him down and while he was on the floor he kicked his legs. Amoruso made a big deal about it, and he got a red. It was out of frustration. The video is in the multimedia section.

Was that Zanetti who got the red? For what? Mouthing off?

Here is my problem. Zanetti is 3rd in the league for yellow cards, and I dont ever remember him getting a 2nd for complaining to the ref after. Yet he gets a straight red after the game which suspends him for the derby. With the terrible ref performance in mind, a tad bit strange dont u think?
:agree: Especially as he's our best midfield player AND, as Andy said, Cristiano always keeps his cool on the pitch!

It's the referee that should've been kicked! Bags me first!

Ny only worry is that Zanetti's ban may be extended.......
That would suit moRATti!

Isn't it strange, that Juve are subjected to discrimination by referees just after c*ntf*ce made those comments about how "surprised he was" that Juve was doing so well!

Amoruso saw two pens

Reggina marksman Nicola Amoruso insists that referee Paolo Dondarini was right to award him a penalty on Saturday, but admits Juventus were due one too.

The former Juve man was the hero for the Calabrians when he converted an injury-time spot-kick for a 2-1 win at the Stadio Granillo, but many felt it shouldn’t have been awarded.

Mohamed Sissoko attempted to clear the ball in the Juve box with a bicycle-kick but made contact with Amoruso, prompting referee Dondarini to award a penalty.

“I have severe bruising on my arm,” the 33-year-old told La Gazzetta dello Sport. “The contact with Sissoko was very hard.”

The decision was particularly harsh, as Juve had been denied what seemed to be a clear penalty when Sissoko was tripped by Carlos Valdez.

“There was certainly a penalty for Juventus,” Amoruso admitted. “But I believe that Reggina have suffered from several bad decisions so far this term and we are still in credit.”

In the heated finale, Bianconeri midfielder Cristiano Zanetti kicked out at Amoruso and was dismissed, but it seems that the pair made peace.

“He was sent off, but he immediately came up to me in the dressing room and apologised,” Amoruso said. “We have cleared it up now.”

The controversy is set to linger after Juventus sent a letter to the FIGC complaining about their treatment from referees this season – a move that has invoked the wrath of the Cadetti champions’ rivals.

that was stupid, even if we do appeal it wont be downgraded. now is the time for sissoko and some 1 else to stand up and fill the enormous missing link in the midfeild that zanetti will leave for those 2 matches
