I’m reading his player thread on Redcafe, and the first post after the Everton game is:

We play so shit with him on the pitch.

He does score us goals but no fluidity. No hold up play. No passes nothing.

We play better with Cavani upfront.

Soon as the subs came on we lost all our control of the game.

A legend scoring goals but he doesn't control the game, Benzema did that for him at Real Madrid.

Yeah yeah I'm wrong by the same guys.

Greenwood goes from a world class youngster to a championship player that can't do shit next to him.

They'll finish top 4 but no titles, at least no important ones.

I just don't get why he moved from a team with subpar midfield to another one with the same weakness.

Should've lowered his salary by 10m to open up more, better opportunities towards the end of his top career.

I do see them finish in the top 4 as well. He desperately wanted out of here and no other team was truly interested. City was interested, but his ego was probably too big to no longer be that irreplaceable player (which he wouldn't have been there).

I respectfully disagree.

He wanted out because he was not willing to put a defensive shift and rotate.

Clueless coaches like Ole, Pirlo and Sarri will do that to you.

There was absolutely no issues to team play with Allegri first season, with Zidane, with Ancelotti etc.

Weird coping mechanism to blame this shit on him lol
