“This is a disgrace, they put four people that know nothing about football in charge of looking at the replay for VAR,” Neymar wrote in a seething Instagram post. “There is no penalty. How can it be a handball when it hits his back?! Go f*** yourselves!”
Neymar deserves a ban for these comments but Not Ronaldo

Please. If this is the case Atletico should have had a stadium ban for their fans chanting Ronaldo is a rapist and his mother is going to die soon at their stadium.

They were also shouting shit at him and throwing trash on the pitch in his direction before he copied Simeone’s gesture. Which he also did in front of our fans too.

Even Simeone said there was nothing wrong with it and it was just expressing that he has cojones too.

Ban would be utterly ridiculous. Reference Russell Westbrook in the NBA telling a racist fan and his wife that he would fuck them up repeatedly on video. $25,000 fine for Westbrook, fan banned for life. Exactly what should be done.

If UEFA wants to suspend players for entirely harmless gestures, than they need to ban the fans hurling profanities and abuse at them first. Or maybe they should just show discretion and realize that Ronaldo responded to classless fans, with a rude gesture, he didn’t go attack them or something of that sort.
I am just saying Simeone's and Ronaldo's situations aren't identical because some people think they are. Totally agree with what you said. It'd be illogical if he got banned.

Atletico should stop acting like they're saints and just leave it be. And train more.

I'm so happy that mormon redneck cunt got banned for life. I also hope his wife gets jumped by a bunch of homeless black dudes and the cunt in question is tied and gagged and made to watch as they take turns viciously penetrating her.

Ninja fuckin ranks at 41
I thought you were talking about Nainggolan.

@DAiDEViL Muller seems unreasonably high on that list. Is he super popular in Germany?

Problem is, Ronaldo did it in front of away fans to taunt them. He was also caught shouting sons of bitches towards them and still hasn't apologized. I suppose that is why he's gonna get a different punishment.
There is no problem.

Following a disciplinary investigation conducted by a UEFA Ethics and Disciplinary Inspector, in accordance with the Article 55 of the UEFA Disciplinary Regulations (DR), disciplinary proceedings have been opened following the UEFA Champions League round of 16 match between Juventus Football Club and Club Atlético de Madrid, played on 12 March in Italy.

Charges against Juventus Football Club:
- Improper conduct of player Cristiano Ronaldo – Art. 11 (2) (b) and Art. 11 (2) (d) of the UEFA Disciplinary Regulations

The UEFA Control, Ethics and Disciplinary Body will deal with this case at its next meeting on 21 March.

Iirc simeone got just a fine so we should expect just a fine for Ronaldo too
he had a slightly different charge though.

simeone:
- Improper conduct of head coach Diego Simeone - Art. 11(2) DR

cr:
- Improper conduct of player Cristiano Ronaldo – Art. 11 (2) (b) and Art. 11 (2) (d) of the UEFA Disciplinary Regulations

anyway, here are the regulations:
https://www.uefa.com/MultimediaFile...CompDisCases/02/48/23/06/2482306_DOWNLOAD.pdf
what a mess. at the end of art. 11 it says "Breaches of the above-mentioned principles and rules are punished by means of disciplinary measures.", and disciplinary measures (art. 6) include basically everything, for example warning, fine, suspension, ban on football-related activities, etc. also, article 15 says "suspension for one competition match or a specified period for: (...) v. unsporting conduct; vi. provoking spectators; " simeone didn't provoke spectators, so that could make a difference.

even if he wasn't our player i'd say after what happened during the first leg, cr shouldn't be suspended.
