It is not the first time Ronaldo has been accused of this type of crime. I find it shocking if Agnelli, Beppe, or Patrarci didn't know about his previous allegations.
one thing is an obscure allegation. another thing is googling Ronaldo and all of the first results being about the rape case, that's not obscure anymore, tomorrow your mom will be asking you if he did it.

imo whether Juventus image gets seriously damaged or not depends on what we do from now on - whether we play him, defend him in press, etc.

Oh so last year they got nothing on him. But now the "facts" are "heavy" since she decided sold a big story to "derSpiegel". Imagine my surprise :lol3:
I wish he is innocent. The problem is we knew that in 2009 he was not the person he is now (more family man). 2009 was also the case with CRjr and the waitress.

I will never understand people who treat claims/allegations/quotes/stories as facts before they have been proven.

Until the september 2009 quotes are verified and until we know the evidence value of that particular document, we don't even know if those quotes are real.

For the record, I have not concluded that Ronaldo did not do this. He may have. But it's equally wrong at this point to conclude that he's guilty of this.

What's clear is that this case has a victim. It could be her. But it could also be him.
Hard to say. It gets worse when celebrities and money is involved. Doesn't absolve rapists of guilt. But I do sense it increases the likelihood of fraud because the accuser stands to gain a lot more than the average victim.

This is bad bad publicity for Juventus

We sign a €100M global star and all we get is this ?

And fucking why does these allegations have to pop up right after he leaves Madrid ?

So fucking frustrating
Dude, you act like the who Spanish tax fraud blow-up about him never happened.

I am pretty sure none of this would have surfaced had he stayed at Real
I have to call bullshit on that. This sounds like the Germans complaining about the Palestinian terrorists kidnapping the Israeli athletes during the 1972 Olympics saying, "How dare you do this to us to embarrass us!"

yeah, but you have to admit that the timing is pretty weird. it happened 9 years ago, when he basically celebrated his new real contract. he leaves them, and in a couple of months, hell breaks loose.

i can't blame the juve management for that, though. nobody could see it coming.

Could be that they sold him because they knew it was coming

What I want to know is what happens now? How does someone prove if it was consensual? It would be his word against hers. Especially considering how long a go it took place.

Times have changed. Immensely you could say.

Saying or thinking that "they're out to get us" is completely retarded.

They haven't shit or it would had already blew up sooner. It's only coming now because she was "counselled". Sorry to break the news here.

us, you mean juve? no, i wouldn't even suggest that. but according to reports, perez was very irritated when cr wanted to leave madrid. he even wanted a public explanation which he didn't get.

i wonder how the spiegel staff got their hands on that questionnaire that only cr's lawyer staff was supposed to see.

anyway, we'll see the outcome of the las vegas investigation. it's already way out of juve's hands.

I can't think of a single time that some sports celebrity was accused of rape and it happened within a month or two of the incident. It always seems to come up years later, so this much seems consistent and not a strange outlier of its kind.

Without a rape kit or someone videotaping it in the hotel room, evidence is going to be light no matter what.

i mean she had 9 years while he was at real. it might be just a coincidence.
