I am curious to see how some members on this forum (who love both Ronaldo and Allegri) will rationalize this one:

I don’t know why it’s so hard to admit Ronaldo is a great player that is also blocking the clubs progress. His wages alone could probably cover most, if not all of Locatelli, Aouar, Donnarumma, and Gosens salaries.

You really believe that? I mean, it's the same CR7 who did very well under Allegri. When everyone had written us off, he did the impossible, scored a hattrick against AM. Scored against Ajax, shame rest of the team let him down.

Like Elvin said, don't believe everything you read.

Shlould be obvious: saying our best performing player is hurting us is counter intuitive. That's what makes it hard to 'admit'.

Your really embarrassing your self with this kind of horse shit. I would rather listen to the words that actually came from Max's own mouth on Ronaldo other than rubbish paper talk. Keep you little Ronaldo agenda going strong.

Why? Both can be true at the same time.

You can think both, Ronaldo is holding back the team progress, AND that Ronaldo is a GOAT striker still.

It has nothing to do with shitting on Ronaldo or belittling his qualities.

That's IF that tweet is actually reporting the truth...

Funny thing Ronaldo was always a winner and bringing in trophies countless times in Madrid.

We sign him and all of a sudden he's :gsol: damaging the team :gsol:

The only damage being done is Ronaldo playing next to shitty players.
Don't forget his spell at Manchester United. PL titles, CL title and Balon dor. And look at them now, a laughingstock.

CR7 is a born-winner. Like I have said earlier, unmatched mentality.

typical no news. a good 2 years after allegri left, BOOOM, clamoroso! typical italian bs.

ronaldo isn't blocking anything. the club simply spent the money on some below par players, even after ronaldo was signed. since cr's arrival, we bought bonucci, cancelo, perin, emre can, pellegrini, demiral, ramsey, rabiot, mckennie, chiesa, de ligt, rovella, kulusevski, and i probably forget some others too. out of this bunch, chiesa and de ligt were unquestionably good signings. we also extended contracts like there's no tomorrow, and out of those players, rugani was loaned out, mandzukic was forced out, bonucci and szczesny have extremely high salaries. meanwhile, we sold spinazzola and kean, two homegrown players who'd cost next to nothing compared to the above bunch, wouldn't take anyone's place, and could be useful additions to the current squad.

give this team two midfielders with actual balls and physical presence instead of two of rabiot/ramsey/bentancur, a healthy dybala/morata/kean trio up front, spinazzola as a proper attacking option on the left, and we'd walk the league even with pirlo. we could have it all within our current budget. but but but ronaldo.

Thats because the rest of Real Madrid team's was world class. Here they all rely on him for solution, mostly don't take initiatives and it impedes the growth of the team

Half the team needs to be changed. And if we bring in young players they need to get their shit together and not rely on a 36 years old in order to improve
We don't need to change half of the team. Half of the team underperforms because Pirlo is a clueless coach.

Get a new mid or two, buy a new LB. Sell players like Ramsey, Rabiot and Sandro.
