Ronaldo was also very selfish in this game and generally moped around like a teenager. I think players get to a point even with him where they stop just looking to play him the ball. His final third play in the last 10 games hasn't been good, several mediocre performances, so that is not surprising. Still, he's a great champion and has to play and be involved.

Actually the reason why he didn't score a goal today was Skorupski and some slightly lacklustre finishing. Rabiot and Cuads were well within their rights to go for goal in those positions. Why would you pass the ball wide if you have a clear sight of goal inside the box and in a central positions?
