Man Utd have no excuse because they have tons of money. Had Juve the same amount we may have built a team around Ronaldo.
with tici in charge? come on. we had enough money and he spent loads on mediocre players. we could have had players like barella for less than we spent on our shitty mids.

instead of paying big salaries to Ramsey, Bentancur, Arthur and Rabiot we could have bought 1 or 2 quality Midfielders. Players like Ramsey, Bentancur, Arthur and Rabiot really dragging juve down.

We'd have continued to waste money the way Woodward did, but the difference is they can do it for the next 15 years and eventually will get it right.
Its not that easy in the EPL because there are other teams that can spend the same so you also need some footballing knowledge to win there.

a pro tip to rise again would be to stop buying inflated shit from EPL and rob other leagues flexing their economic muscles.
That's what I'd do.

Well, he's a poacher like no one else out there, he knows to to score from very little he gets. Other than that he drags them with his sheer willingness and competitiveness. That stuff can get you only so far, he's not the same player anymore. United are suffering from the same disease Juve did: everyone plays for Ronaldo, nobody takes responsibility anymore. For sure many of their fans think otherwise but luckily it's not our problem.

In Portugal he'd score shitload of goals, in EPL they're on a downward spiral.
The disease is poor coaching/tactics. Everyone playing to Ronaldo and doing so poorly is a symptom of a bad tactical plan not the disease.

He has been a different player for a few years, increasingly managing his energy levels and becoming more of a poacher and less of a creator. But he is the greatest poacher of all time and it didn't stop him or Madrid from winning everything.

He just went from a poorly managed juve to a poorly managed united and in both cases he is one of the few players actually delivering consistently

It's actually not very different from Messi with Argentina. The game plan is to do everything through Messi, and despite carrying the team he gets the blame. Bad tactics is the disease there too.

United are worse than last year though.

Something about big teams is that when they don't meet expectations they tend to drop multiple levels. The signings of this year raised expectations and because ole is not a top manager they got crushed under it. When teams are expected to win and things don't click they collapse. Ole could do well as long as expectations were just top 4. Same for Lampard. Chelsea now looks similar.

That's why atalanta and napoli can outperform us. Their expectations are lower they don't have the same pressures.
