Will you take CR7 - Leandowski straight swap ?
NO.

Current version of CR7 > prime Lewa.

At Bayern Lewandowski has a wc team built around him creating countless chanches. He wouldn't hit double digits here, imo.

If Ronaldo had joined Bayern instead of Juventus, he would have won minimum 1 CL and 1 balon dor.

Not sure I can agree with this.

The thing with Lewa is that he's very good at adopting to a team. In Dortmund he played a much more counter attacking style of football compared to Bayern and was still world class for them, in Bayern it took him a season to adjust but after he did so he never looked back.

While I agree he has a world class team surrounding him is it not the only reason he's the best striker in the world. His movement, skills, ability to read the game and positioning is second to none compared to most others.

Lewandowski would maybe need a season to adjust to Juve like he did when he came to Bayern but he would be deadly for you as well. He's much more than just a poacher.

There's no point in him staying if we're going to adjust our setup so that he continues to play LW and have a CF play off him. It's one of the big reasons why we are unbalanced as a team.

If he doesn't want to play CF which he most likely won't, it's best to part ways.

Don't want to see us waste another year hoping to get the 'best out of him'.

Hope people get their fanboy mindsets out of here and think more about what's better for the team.

Well that is his best role. He and Benzema were great together like that. He and Mario to a lesser extent too. It's not his fault he doesn't have a creative midfielder behind him.

He's not a #9 and never will be. He'd be half the player if he played there consistently.

I don't think he will leave, but IF he does leave, then contrary to popular belief I don't think we will miss his 30 goals per season like some may think.

I reckon that we will probably score just as many goals without him. His goals will be spread evenly among our forward line.

We scored 86 goals in the 2017/18 Serie A season, and we haven't come close to that since he joined us.

Of course I could be completely wrong, but that's my gut feeling.

Nothing to do with not having a creative CM. I'm not talking about goals. I'm talking about balance. Ronaldo has been a walking liability outside the box. Forget the zero defensive contribution despite playing on the flank, his cheap giveaways is the most infuriating thing. Im pretty sure he's the most dispossessed player in the league. It's not his fault. He's 36, he can't pass or dribble as effectively anymore but his ego won't admit it.

How about we have another Chiesa type player on the left hand side. How about we go back to having a conventional setup. How about we build more unpredictability in our attack. But nah fuck that, let's have the entire team play for him so he can score a 100 penalties and get his golden boot...

Ofc it has to do with a creative midfielder. He wouldn't be trying to do so much outside if he had someone feeding him better inside.

Ronaldo or offensive balance is not a problem. Midfield balance is.

Ronaldo-Morata-Chiesa is perfectly fine and balanced.

We will not have this such discussion if 3 years ago we bought Hakimi, Haaland and Bruno Fernandes

Their recent transfer fee
Hakimi 45M (2020)
Haaland 20M (Jan 2020)
Bruno Fernandes 55M (Jan 2020)

Total 120 M transfer fee with salary total for 3 of them lower than 31M
I solely believe we can get discount from that amount of money if those transfer happen in 2018 and with lower amount of wages too

And voila 3 years latter Hakimi 50M value, Bruno Fernandes 90M value, Haaland 110M total =240M value

While CR7 i dont think any club will take him even if we give him for free, no one will pay his salary with his current age (Washed up)
This is some fucked up false way at looking at things. Haaland has choosen his teams carefully and with great success. We have been interested since he played for molde, so its not about juve not wanting him. He simply choose a better way to reach the top. Also going back in time, and choosing players who have had great success, complaing we didnt sign them is just bullshit.
