The only negative thing I have on this guy so far is that he somehow offered Rabiot an extension.

For all other things, I can't fault him, the previous cabal of management + coach FUBAR'ed the entire financial structure of the club with the wage/contracts and undervaluing the players.

That being said, I'd give a negative point to him if we failed to get koop + at least 1 winger.

Bro, I've never placed a bet against Juve in my life. Now I'm considering putting some serious money on Como. That's how I see our squad at this point.

At what point can folks start calling him Judentoli ?
Since he arrived.

We def upgraded our midfield in July. Attacking department has to follow in August to be looking at a great mercato at the end (with Todibo and Cabral in the mix too). So at this point I'd still say anyone judging in either direction, is just premature at best.
Definitely? So Douglas Luiz and Thuram are definitely going to perform better than our previous midfield. That is the first time you are definite about something. Are you feeling well?

How we'll perform is a mystery. But quality wise we upgraded for sure. Douglas Luiz is an upgrade on all of our midfielders last season. Not so sure who would argue against that. Would you??

We only let go of Rabiot (McKennie to follow probably), we're recouping Fagioli, more than likely also getting Koopmeiners in a few days and we have a coach that wants to pass the ball a few times.

So all in all do you think we're not upgrading in midfield, right?

The issue we've had the last years is that we've signed way too many players that weren't going to raise the quality and were signings precisely for the bench. The issue with players like that is that you end up having an impossible task of getting rid of them for the simple reason that they don't belong in a club like Juventus and they are content.

Weah
McKennie
Gatti
Kean
Milik
Alcaraz

All of these guys were brought to sit on the bench. None of these guys was brought in as a legitimate starting option. Which is also why I like this years mercato because all of the guys we've brought are competing for a starting position.

I am not that excited, on paper we have probably updgraded the midfield but it is still a gamble. Then I also think that we are still thin there. Maybe not as thin as in other positions but we are thin even in midfield.

We're definitely way too thin overall if we don't count the players that are out of the project.

But with Koop coming in; midfield will be settled in terms of numbers... Assuming Miretti, Fagioli and Locatelli will all stay we have 6 players for probably 3 spots.

Remember we'll likely continue to count on our NextGen in emergency situations.

we also lowered the wage bill considerably, which is a priority above results

so far i'm not overly impressed either, not having wingers (neither quality nor quantity), the main target, a good cb addition and a rb at 3 weeks before the end of the mercato window looks worrying to say the least, but i'll try my best to judge the mercato by the results. ane i mean both financial and sporting results. if motta can figure out an effective system, we can keep the injuries under control and the wage bill won't be over the roof, plus we can add a good cl run and a comfortable podium finish with the intention of winning all games, then it would be a good mercato.

Why have you gone full retard this summer?

Are you an Allegro throater reminiscing about the past?
I judge about facts and here they are:

1. We have sold our best young talents for small money.
2. We have offloaded some of our squad players for decent money.
3. We have suddenly ousted many players from the squad making it almost impossible to sell them now. Chiesa as one of the best Italian talents in last 10 years included.
4. In this Mercato we have signed one maybe two quality players worth of Juve shirt.
5. We have almost no quality wingers for the formation coach uses and meanwhile we brough in a fourth GK.
6. We are thin in almost every department and don't have the quality core of the squad and all their subs for 3+ competitions we will play in. And BTW Serie A starts next week.

Those are the facts. You can distort them all you want, but that's the 2/10 right there bro.

some of you have an extremely short memory.
you all seems to forget how badly this club has been damaged and in any way it could possibly been damaged.
this guy has so many problems to solve in a relatively short time and all you need is one transfer delayed in order to start wining.

after a long period of time, after many many many suffering and despair it finally feels like there is someone to trust.
give him time, this rebuilding in all levels of the club might take longer then just one transfer window.

for me, considering the amount of problems left by the previous management, he is doing a great job.
