I'm more interested about what Chiesa's team is thinking here. I don't think our management have done the wrong thing and like you I don't believe Motta doesn't want him. I just don't understand what they're trying to do here by not signing. Why is Chiesa risking becoming another Dybala and make less money? Inter, Napoli or Roma is not going to offer more. I don't even think Tottenham would offer more either. The market is looking bleak for him right now.
Things like maybe he's frustrated at the club with poor performances, Allegri, etc? You could see it last season. But you'd be quite excited as a winger, in theory, with Motta coming in. But it seems like Giuntoli has heard enough and just dumped this guy.

Someone might yet come in for him, maybe a desperate PL team.

Guintoli in the nesxt 25 days needs to: Sell or loan Chiesa, Szczesny, De Sciglio, Rugani (almost done), Djalo, Caviglia, Arthur, McKennie, Chiesa, Milik (probably more I can't remember) - so at least 10 sell/loan deals. Then add Todibo?, Koop?, 2 wingers?, a full back and a vice Vlahovic (at least 6).

So 16 deals in 25 days. Not going to happen. Be prepared for many unwanted players sticking around and a few sub-optimal panic buys.

IMO Juve will buy Todibo and Koop to complete the core for Motta. Then, a starting RW, a good LW, a Vlahovic's sub: next 3 transfers will depend on how well they sell.

But this is hardly surprising though. A turnover of the squad was inevitable. A lot of these players did not improve over the years and didn't deserve to play for the club.

It is given that along the way, we are going to end up making some underwhelming buys. You can't fix the mess in one summer.

Every Juve fan needs to block this account. They are classic 100% misinformation clickbait merchants.
But that specific tweet actually is telling us something that is ultimately true and that many were not aware about, just the timing of it is off as it’s been already out there since the new kits got released.

Otherwise yes, they do have a reputation for clickbait and mistranslations.

they never removed, it wasn't available since the new jerseys were introduced. same with mckennie, mds and a few others (mainly those who were left behind before the brest friendly)

no news once again. this account is terrible.
They are not a source. They are just an aggregator as far as I can see. They get their sources from all of the usual suspects: Pedulla, Di Marzio, Gazzetta, Corriere Dello Sport, Tuttosport etc. They quote their source anyway - up to you to decide what is BS or not.

way too often they come up with terrible translations and bullshit "news" like this one

if you're an adult you can make a distinction between the following statements:
- chiesa's jersey is unavailable at the official juve store
- chiesa's jersey was removed from the store
- chiesa's jersey never was available since the new jerseys were presented

two are factual, one is a straight up fabrication.

there are dozens of english language accounts available that serve the same purpose. this is easily the worst, no contest

i'm following this one: https://twitter.com/juvenewslive much more credible and reliable than the trash above.

do you know what would have happeend if he wasn't signed?

the goalie that guintoli can't sell and was doing just fine would have started both games.
I’ll wait until the end the mercato to judge that. Before September 1st this is all speculative bullshit.

i guess pre seaon integration doesn't matter. players just supposed to perform like in video games.

also market might close in a month, but season starts in two weeks. for some teams in one week. they not going to wait

Integration for the one we’re selling? That’s his next club’s problem.

Also we’re integrating the new one pretty well. The other one has been here since forever. He doesn’t need any further integration.

This Chiesa situation is the first F grade for Giuntoli. That Motta interview should never have happened.
i talked about it with a few buddies. they argued that the agents knew about the club's intentions and were working on the sales for months. other clubs (potential buyers) also don't get their intels from tuttosport or motta's interviews. yet neither of these agents could come up with an acceptable solution that would please both jj and the players. they argued that the club drew a line here: you had months to work, you're out, fuck yourselves

it's also a consequence of overpaying our players in general. tek would be an easy sale otherwise, he's a top goalie. chiesa on normal wages is also an easy sale, but apparently no one is willing to pay him 5m+. arthur's wages are obviously ridiculous. and those are all contracts that were signed by the previous management

fair enough. still, i also think that this communication isn't constructive at all. even if the owner, the management already declared that it's a year zero for the club, you cannot put a "junk" label to your assets like this

Making it public is what’s unforgivable here. I think both Chiesa and McKennie will end up winding down their contracts and leave on a free. Will be happy to be proven wrong.

I'm in two minds about it. Does saying it officially make it worse? It certainly doesn't strengthen your position but you can just as easily say circumstances have changed.

This whole thing about players being worth a lot less because you want to sell...I don't think agents and clubs are that stupid that they don't know who is potentially available. We already knew that Juve need money, so obviously they do. We've known for months that Chiesa won't extend, and you can visit TM to see when his contract ends. We tried to sell McKennie to Villa. Is any of this new info?
