lol thats true, tiago isn't the same tiago of chelsea and lyon, and he will bring us some money

i say de ceglie becomes a left midfield, molinaro becomes a back-up, and we get a tough left back, i heard rumours about abidal, but i don't think barcelona will sell..
i hope they get drenthe

No, fair and logical point, but unfortunately we have CR and he does not follow reason...
He is biased and as long as we have Moli, he will not give chances to anyone else.
This is the reason we got to sell him, i dont mind Moli being a sub, on the contrary!!
He is ideal for that role, for the reasons you stated!

Molinaro starts because he is a better defender than De Ceglie and there are no other left-backs. It is not because Molinaro is Ranieri's son.
When Molinaro started, he was no better defender than DC is now though.
If we dont give the opportunity to DC, he will never adapt to our enough to be as efficient as Moli is.
DC has shown that he has the potential to become at least as good defender as Moli is now, if not better, with the added bonus that he is already far more useful offensively!!

There is absolutely no point on keeping him on the bench.
If we dont consider him good enough to give him a chance, then why is he here???
And if we CR wouldnt consider Moli enough to be our starter, then who was meant to be a starter??? Why didnt we bought a starter LB??

CR is not Moli's father, but he could be his lover...
There is only one other reason to explain this favorism!!

Molinaro is the better defender now and it is all that matters. After all, you don't want experiments and De Ceglie's performances suggest that he will make a mistake somewhere and cost us points by which time many will start complaining again. Molinaro doesn't make many(if any) defensive errors this season. As for not buying a starter LB, that is pretty obvious too. There ain't any on the market that is significantly better than Molinaro. Zhirkov? Lahm? Dossena?

Molinaro:
"I still have to work a lot to get at the level of my team mates"

At least he admits :lol2:

He was talking about fitness level, though. But it's valid for whichever level he's talking about :D

Funny how a lot of people (on this forum at least) seem to think he sucks beyond recognition, while the people in charge keep putting their trust in him.
Something to think about really.

We'll see how it works next season.

I'll tell you what. If he doesn't perform and improve, which he won't because he'll be exposed as the sole left flank player, then the people in charge really are idiots.

I don't care how well he performs during practices. The guy is a hack.

I used to dislike him, but I must admit that he did improved a lot in last season. At least give him credit where it's due.
I see no problem here if we keep him as a back-up.

He didn't improve that much. His crosses remained poor and he made defensive mistakes.

People saying he improved is basically the same thing as saying he tries hard. I mean, big deal. He's still crap and does not deserve to play for us.
