I still think it was a mistake to sell Balzaretti for that little sum as he would've been useful as a 2nd/3rd choice fullback, something which we needed last season.

Heck, he was one of our most lethal attacking weapons in Serie B. How many assists did he get? 7?

Let's sing this song with Cristian:

I can't get no satisfaction,
I can't get no satisfaction.
'Cause I try and I try and I try and I try.
I can't get no, I can't get no.

Well, I too confess to watching Balza in a few games in the past few seasons and noting that I seemed to find more highs and fewer lows than with Molinaro...

I still don't know what the guy is doing in a team like Juve. Players like him should be polishing their Balon D'ors at Barca and Man U. What a waste of a talent.

Fuck, wrong thread.

Is it the love for our club that misguides some of our fans?
our just their compassion for a man who tries hard and yet, he is attacked and humiliated by the ones who were supposed to be his fans??

I dont know what drives some people/members, to defend some "players", like Chimenti and Molinaro. Maybe some insults, taken out of the context,
makes them feel like this is personal and they are some miserable/misunderstood victims,
being in the wrong place, at the wrong time...

Well, you are forgetting smth;
Juventus, our dearest club, pays millions to those players, we invest money, time and space on them.
In case you havent noticed, we are not a charity club and we dont have any more resources to spare!!!
Their place in our team means, that we sacrifice this very place, for a better, or at least more promising player.
Their time on the pitch with our jersey, isnt a favor they perform to Juve.
They are getting paid for that and they supposed to get the job done.
It is their duty to do so!! They are selected over millions other players!
If they cant play good enough, then they shouldnt be here.
We are supposed to be a professional team, participating in the highest competitions.
We cannot afford to train rookies, or limited/crippled players.

No matter how hard those two gents are trying, they are just not good enough for us. Despite their best intentions, they are actively hurting our club!
The competition at this level, does not allows to carry around weaklings like them
and use them, without going unpunished.
Our adversaries will do anything possible, to exploit our weakness,
the higher the level we compete, the more these weaknesses will drag us down...

In the end you will have to choose, between their future and Juve's future.
Even if we get rid of them, it doesnt mean they will die or disappear.
They can always find another club, to pay them the millions, we pay
and maybe even give more playing time and the chance to shine and make the difference, among inferior material...

As a Juve fan, it is normal to grow an affection, for some certain Juve players.
Some ppl tend to like our old and proven champions, players who constantly lead us to victories and titles. Players who have dedicated our carriers, to our cause.
Some other appreciate more the unsung warriors, the hard-workers, who deliver less fancy moves, but some extremely efficient contributions, which has been proved to be crucial many times over!!

But to support some players, out of pity alone, is not sane.
To tolerate such incompetence and encourage it, in the times of our rebuilt!
In our quest to reach out perfection, to reach out, our old top notch standards.
Means that you actively jeopardize Juve's interest, her future and compromise our desperate fight to come back!!

At this very moment, we need to opt for quality!! We, the Juve fans must demand it!! Our managers, for one reason or the other, are not content enough to see our needs. We must not tolerate this situation!!!
Players like Chimenti, Molinaro and Knezevic, were never mentioned to be Juve material, this is not the Juve we want, this is not the Juve we love, we ve been in hell and back, always faithful, we ve tolerated things, that no other fans have tolerated, in such a big club, (in this century, at least).
But we are still here hoping, we have been promised, that the situation will return back to normal. Juve deserve better than that, we deserve better than that!

People our spending, their time, their money, their love, their passion for Juve.
Some do some small sacrifices.

What we have done to deserve this?? Who is going to show some pity/mercy to us? Why do we have to watch our team struggling like that, with a mockery of players like them??
Our new managers were supposed to be a quick fix, an urgent solution!!
Why are they still here??
They promised that they have the necessary funds and the plan to bring us back in five years. And yet they only managed to throw away our limited resources, committing mistake after mistake.
And then we made ourselves, some lame excuses, in an attempt to ignore the truth, (that our helm is incompetent to fix this team with the available resources and our owners will not invest the money, they can spare for the love our club. The money they should spare for taking us out of the darkest age in our history.
Despite this has been their mistake, their responsibility)
like, no one would accept serie B, we had no income, no TV rights, no CL participation etc etc

And here we are now, bringing Chimenti back and extending Molinaro's contract,
this is the future our managers plan for our team.
Feel free to go ahead and let your compassion for their personal interests, to become our future nightmares.

But as long as i hold breath, i will not tolerate such incompetence, within our ranks,
i see them as a clear and present danger.
They cast a dark shadow to our bright future and it is vital to see them removed asap!!
I will protest, i will actively try to influence as much many Juve fans as i can,
in a desperate attempt to get us rid of their tyranny!!

Thank God, Manningher's presence, neutralized the Chimenti threat,
but the Molinaro threat is still very active and threatening.
We lost Balza and we are ready to sacrifice DC's and Giovinco's future for his growth. Molinaro is young, cheap and Italian and this seems to be a reason good enough, for our coach to tolerate him and field our team crippled,
in our left flank!
Doing our managers a favor, to avoid more costs and an extra investment...

Though i understand the humanitarian driven empathy, to protect the weak, over the merciless crowd, my Juve conscience forces me to see through the situation
and i also feel obligated to alert my brother Juventini:D

These are the reasons i bash Molinaro for the time being, not because i hate him as a man, or anyone else, supporting him!
There is no reason for anyone to take this personally...

you mentioned the wages we pay our players ... and thus i am pretty sure that molinaro does earn exactly what we owe him ... some salary that is probably half of what zambrotta or another decent full back earned ... he is not good, but it is not like we're spending super high wages on him...

if the club think we need a reinforcement there, then they can buy one, because molinaros wage wont hurt so much as if we can not afford to bench him.

Molinaro is probably or surely not Juve's material but there's no way he can be compared to Chimenti.

Chimenti doesn't even try at times to save a ball. It feels like he's wearing the jersey just to waste his time. Molinaro on the other hand can look like a joke several times morning till noon but at least you see him performing once or twice in each of his 5matches.

I think Molinaro is a bit more respected than Chimenti, a bit. Can be more if he works on his fucked up passes though.

respected in what sense? the fact he cant cross? cant do anything other than run like a headless chicken, chimenti may not be no buffon but at least he has his uses

C'mon mate, don't tell me his uses is saving penalty kicks because as far as I know whenever we reached pk's buffon was not subs for chimenti.

Molinaro looks most of the times like a headless chicken, no doubt. But still I've seen some good defending from him from time to time, seen some games like the ones vs madrid the ones vs roma vs chievo etc

in that case they are as bad as each other, because chimenti has been solid in the past. lets not forget you cant really expect much from a 30 going on 40 yr old gk. where by molinaro has failed to live up to any expectations. perhaps hes still a jagged edged rock still and needs sanding down, but my patience is forever wearing thin on him

Molinaro was top-class against roma .. he was fast, passes the ball nicely, his crosses was pretty good, defended solidly .. why can't he play like this in every match? the guy just lacks self-confidence which shouldn't be a problem at this time considering the number of matches he played for us since last season ..

Now, I wish he can gain some confidence after our respected management signed a new contract with him .. he must .. otherwise, i can see him being sold at the end of the season ..
