the first day of the test here was slightly more even than the one at lahore.the pitch is still great for batting,but im guessing it will assist the bowlers if they bowl the right line and length.india did well to have us at 216-4.but afridi and inzi batted well.id be happy with anything in the region of 500 runs in the first innings.

I reckon once Afridi has made his century, he'll lay into the India's bowling attack, especially Harbie.

I dont see why Pak wont touch 500 with them on 379 for the loss of 4. I would'nt call it even stevens yet AXL. I'd say Pak has the momentum at this point. Although again unfortunately, this pitch doesn't seem like one that will produce a result. Add to that the weather conditions, which I believe are going to have a bearing on the course of the match. All said and done, you just got to love Afridi - boy, he's got strength. And I thought only Sehwag and Inzi were well fed lads.
