Crespo has contract with Chelsea and they can get him back from Inter whenever they want and use him for some swap deals or send him on loan somewhere else.
Since we are not their rivals in Europe and since Crespo wants to stay in Italy, they can send him to us, he won't refuse to join us because for him Italy is much better than England.
Or maybe they want Trezeguet and they'll use Crespo as part of the deal. Noone will pay us more for Trez than Abramovich and if Trez really wants to leave then Chelsea is the best option for us.
Give them Trez for big money+Crespo on loan , or give them Trez for Crespo on loan+ some Chelsea player . Someone like Shevchenko ( what an orgasm to see Milan fans watching Sheva wear our jersey) , Robben or Alex from PSV.

I'll still keep Trezeguet, but if he wants to leave there's nothing Juve can do but try to get as much $ or good players for him.

If he's wiling to give up on Champions league football for a year , then he's welcome , but i think it's a smoke screen for some other player
Honestly, after all these rumors, I started to think this way .. Our management is just speculating about each and every player. But when the time comes for a true deal no other team will really believe so. Then BANG we got the player .. :)

something like the boy cried wolf! .. Though it's really far fetched :)

If Chelsea want Trezeguet instead of Crespo, who isn't willing to play in English premier League, or if they are ready to loan him to us, I find that the only winner of such a bargain would be Juventus, especially from the financial point of view.

Even though, I don't trust a player who played for Parma, Lazio, Inter Milan, Milan and Chelsea. Yes, I know that time has changed and professionalism has the upper hand. Still, I believe in an ancient word called "loyalty". I don't think that a player who can cheer for Inter, respect them and believe in their project (According to his announcements and what I've seen of him this season) can do the same for the direct rival. And if he can, this in my dictionary is called hypocrisy.

The above mentioned reason is the first reason for why I don't him in Turin. The second is that I reckon we're linked to a forward who is better than Crespo, on the long run; Huntelaar.

I believe Trezeguet will stay. If he leaves I agree with Bbilan, sell him to Chelsea and get a player or 2 good players in return.

it's not a bad idea but if only if we're getting the hunter. If trezi wants to leave then swap him and get the hunter. That would be perfect for us.

Huntelaar is not good enough for La Vecchia Signora. I want a striker with more power en speed. Suazo is also a good option for us.

Look at it this way, he played for four teams in Serie A, four big teams and he played very good with all clubs. Never he looked that he gave a club more of his work that the other, he has been really loyal to the club he played in. That's what he is, he has no favourite club but his River Plate and he loves to live in Italy, also notice, he has lived in three Italian cities. I am sure if he comes to Juve he will as good as he was with the other teams he's been with.

I'm all for seeing him with the Juve jersey.

Football is considered the profession of footballers, the place where they can earn money. It is normal for them to work on improving their performances to sign better contracts, I can't blame them for that. This isn't exclusive to football, but it is the ambition of every sane human, whatever his profession is. I know he's done his best in all these clubs, I've been following him since his early days of his career. But all of this is a thing and loyalty is another different thing. Crespo for example could have played for just Lazio or Inter, earning the salary that he wanted.

I can't call this loyalty, it is called the lure of the green pastures.

I would take an "unloyal" Crespo that would give us his best over a "loyal" out of form and unmotivated Trezeguet.

The problem is with his clubs. It wasn't Crespo who was leaving his clubs but his clubs were selling him to get money from him.
Parma had big financial problems when they sold him to Lazio, for a world record fee of 34£million to Lazio. If you remember , the next year Parma also sold the rest of their stars Buffon and Thuram, and then even Cannavaro.
Then Lazio had financial problems and had to sell him to Inter for 17£million. Lazio lost half of the money they payed to Parma 2 years ago, but they were forced to sell their best player.
Crespo never wanted to leave Inter in the first place but Moratti decided to get the money back he payed for him, and he sold him to Chelsea for 17£million.
In Chelsea and England he wasn't happy at all and this is the only case where you can call him not loyal. He was the one who wanted to go out of England and that's why Chelsea loaned him to Milan. He begged Berlusconi to buy him from Chelsea, but Berlusconi didn't wanted and he bought Gilardino. Hernan Crespo, like every proffessional accepted that and went back to England.
Chelsea loaned him again to Inter, and now, although he still wants to stay with Inter, Chelsea will probably get him back and Moratti won't care about Crespo's wishes and won't buy him from Chelsea.

Maybe he wasn't the one who wasn't loyal to his clubs, but his clubs weren't loyal to him ?
