yeah, Texas Georgia Florida have some of the highest numbers without being top of the population chart
New York and New Jersey are always going to be top of the heap as far as death toll/capita goes, because that area got hit first and hardest with travel from Europe (that Trump didn’t shut down lol) in a massive and densely populated area before any knowledge of how deadly the virus truly is became public, and before testing and contact tracing, mask wearing and social distancing measures were ready, and when treatment was an unknown.

Conversely Louisiana and Massachusetts with republican governors are going to be 3 and 4 due to getting hit early, but also now experiencing massive second surges, especially Louisiana. And then Texas, Georgia, Florida, South Carolina, Alabama have all skyrocketed up the deaths/capita charts lately, even with advances in therapeutics and in stopping spread tactics.

Regardless, ridiculously callous and imbecilic thing for a president to lay claim to as a point of pride. Lol

Looks like UK is set for another lockdown. Boris will say more in a couple of hours. They don't want to get like France and Spain.

Already they have put a 10pm curfew on pubs and restaurants, which seems almost useless.

Are Spain and France trying to compete with the United States now? Give up guys, you'll never beat us.
Well, ‘murica flew past France, Sweden, Italy, UK in deaths/capita from Covid over the last 6 weeks, and was rapidly approaching Spain, but the Spanish not to be outdone by the crass, boorish ‘muricans, decided to rejoin the race.

Certain Tuz ‘muricans are very sad now that they can longer celebrate #winning#greatestnationinhistory. Can’t even outclass Spain for Covid deaths/capita.

SAD PATHETIC LOSER NATION

Depends on personal circumstances really. Some will be glad to work from home again. Others can't, and employees will have to furlough for at least 2 weeks. It's not supposed to last longer than that but we'll find out later.

An idea would be to do it during the October school half term.

US passes 200,000 deaths from Covid.

Trump: “It affects virtually nobody. It’s an amazing thing... by the way open your schools, everybody, open your schools.”

Imagine being a Trump supporter. :sergio:

Fox News: “There are some silver linings... a lot of people are spending time at home, not commuting into the city.” :lol2:

They are American. By default they are already winning :p
Idk man, from the outside it looks life isn't too great for a lot of Muricans nowadays. Not sure everyone is winning
