This is going to hurt a lot, and it's going to be very, very asymmetrical -- unevenly distributed -- at first. The last of San Francisco's non-tech nor finance economy will completely collapse, and that assisted living community for millennials will be left with nobody to do the assisting. Going to be bizarre when that area faces an adulting crisis where everyone keeps banging on their apps and there are no humans left to respond.
I would even be worried if I was in the tech industry. Sales will most likely trend down for them too, especially as the crisis rolls on and the service industry is decimated. Then access to capital will probably be an issue, which is why the Fed keeps wasting all their supposed "bullets" as soon as the outbreak begins. Not to poo-poo the virus, but the ramifications to the economy will probably be far worse, and probably even longer-lasting.
