I’m sure the timing has absolutely nothing to do with the fact Pfizer only just got the very first results, 94 thus far of over 44,000 enrolled. They even cautioned that these are only preliminary and it may turn out nowhere near this effective in the end.

Yeah. Some media headlines very misleading here lol. Generally speaking such early preliminary results are never released. But Pfizer said they were in a position to provide some hope and optimism by releasing the info that early results are suggesting that the vaccine is effective.
