People should lock them down inside their homes for the rest of their lives if they're scared to living the life. Humans are doing so well that death isn't even a thing anymore, everyone just thinks that they're immortal unless, some "outer" threat like this virus pops out and everyone going ape shit. Before this, in their wonderland nothing could have happened to their dear life.

It ain't a hoax, but really ain't going to stress out about it more than cancer.

If this is true - good luck with herd immunity. Also, we are fucked for a long time. :sergio:
Fuck. This would be terrible. If true, we really need to find an effective way of treating this.

Did you see this one from a couple weeks ago? Asymptomatic cases can still have damage to their lungs. Strange virus, Covid

The best hope is that the virus becomes less virulent and deadly over time like the flu or common cold.

New study from Karolinska Institute related to this. Turns out that the surprisingly low antibody percentage in populations might be because of T-cell immune defense response. The study suggests that milder infections are handled by T-cells, which hopefully give enough immunity, while only the severe Covid-19 infections result in antibodies.

That's promising. Also, milder strains are more likely to spread easily, thus making them survive longer due to natural selection. Another huge positive is that corornaviruses aren't retroviruses like HIV which produce copies of their genome within the host DNA, making them very hard to treat or vaccinate against.
