I read somewhere that athletic companies are working on masks that can handle that sort of stuff... exercise, physical work, etc. However, haven’t seen anything since.
I wonder how that would work. The entire idea about a mask is that it is going to "stop" small particles from getting in or out. I really don't see any way how that would be possible without it also interfering with your breathing.

Also, I get the feeling the use or importance of masks is being grossly overrated lately. They're bound to be useful if you find yourself close to people for extended periods, especially in places with little ventilation, but other than that?

hungary has a pretty effective analyst team leading the anti-epidemic measures. the timing of their decisions proved to be absolutely spot on so far. now they gave the green light for open air events over 500 guests, so we can have some concerts finally. they also removed the ban for under-65 shopping between 9-12 o'clock, so now the under-65 and over-65 can meet in shops, groceries and malls. my personal feeling is that it's still too early, but i know jack shit about epidemiology.

Arizona reported 3246 cases. 20% of the tests they did came back positive.
And Florida breaking its record for a 4th time in the past week, skyrocketing to 3822 cases today. Previous high was yesterday with 3207, first time the state had gone over 3000 in a day. Florida, Texas, Arizona, California, Alabama, Georgia seeing rough numbers from reopening, and we haven’t even seen the protest spikes yet.

Doesn’t help that Arizona also seeing crazy start to the wildfire season.

Guess who has a rally in Oklahoma coming up

Does this count at the 2nd wave or we still riding the first one?
I think @Ronn posted something above saying that if we look at the US as 4 different regions, some just haven’t reached the peak of the first wave yet... if numbers start spiking in the Northeast again, that could perhaps be called the 2nd wave?
