the first actual study that shows in vivo evidence that zinc sulfate added to the mix can have an actual therapeutic effect. Decreased need for ICU admission or ventilation, and morbidity.
Yeah it's zinc that's supposed to help. HCQ facilitates it.

Laundry list of side effects when taken prescribed dose of HCQ (ideally in hospital, not at home). Arrhythmia and death possible side effects when you overdose.

What worries me is that in Spain a research suggests that only 5% of Spaniards had the virus. So, all the damage this virus brought could be 20x times that if 100% of the population gets the disease.

here's a link https://english.elpais.com/society/...paniards-have-contracted-the-coronavirus.html

And the president of Brazil totally messed it up by pretending this virus is like the flu.
That's such a surprisingly low number. How can this be so? Why would New York City have such a higher percentage?

Some good news. For the second day in a row, 0 COVID-19 deaths have been reported in San Francisco.

San Francisco reported only 36 deaths of COVID-19 comparing to NYC’s 15k+. Although their population is much lower even proportionally this doesn’t make sense. Leadership here gets all the praise yet numbers show they fucked up massively.

thats cause coronavirus is nothing compared to what a Bay Area immune system is exposed to on daily basis.

Yeah, I'm very surprised too. It looks like this virus is spread in clusters and is not so infectious. It's not so easy to spread but it's a nightmare to stop. In Italy too, the main clusters are in Northern Italy and specifically - Lombardy.

West coast put in measures and shut down much earlier and quicker than out east and in general the population is far healthier, less obesity, less underlying issues. Washington had some of the first infections and has done a great job containing. My province here, BC, has pretty much nipped this in the bud too, with mostly voluntary measures.

As an aside, there has been some theorizing that the strain on the west coast came direct from China early on and is less virulent than the strain that passed through Europe on its way to New York and the eastern seaboard. It’s a possibility and would help explain the massive discrepancy in death toll (and death rate too)... but it also sounds awfully convenient for Chinese propaganda machine.

Early stay at home order was probably the deciding factor. This article explains how San Francisco mayor and California Governor worked together, but Cuomo and De Blasio could not put petty rivalries aside.
