so basically marchisio won't play, pjaca won't start, he didn't say a word about the formation he'll use.

without marchisio and lemina, hernanes is our only potential regista. he's genoa bound, so odds are he won't play either. most possibly it leaves us with the 4-2-3-1 we've seen against lazio.

good point. it might be the same hybrid max used at the beginning of last season with the tactical flexibility added by cuadrado: 5-3-2 without the ball, 4 defenders during possession play.
