Ariaudo is 19 playing against top Serie A strikers in Rocchi and Zarate. He may have looked shaky at some moments of the match, but overall he was not an embarrassment like some other players we continue to field.

GIVE HIM A FUCKING BREAK ALREADY.

Nothing could be done about the strikes by Zarate (fantastic) and Koralov, except for perhaps closing down a little more in defense. Tiago tried to help out Grygera before the pass to Zarate, but he was too late and so was the central defense against the wonderstrike. I thought the right side of the defense was much worse than the left side as Mellborg and Grygera are simply not up to tasks such as these.

The midfield was horrible as Giovinco couldn't get a lot going by himself and Marchionni was once again an embarrassment to all right-wingers in the game. We might as well just throw in another striker for all intents and purposes.

But I'm not really angry about this. My anger already peaked during the last few weeks anyway. We might as well just field Giovinco and some other youngsters like Iago, tell them to go put a show on for us, use the Brazilian 4-2-4 and try to give the spectators something to remember for their money.

The substitution of Nedved for Giovinco could only make me smile and laugh.
I am not always on your side, but you are absolutely right about this!

Marchionni is a player, that is by far not good enough for this squad!

All 3 subs were a joke!

btw Ariaudo was impressive!

Some are overrating him in his thread check it out. I have a question, who was more to blame our midfield or our back line? Clearly the mid struggled but our back line was very poor...
no cryil it was mostly our midfield not our back line.

For a 19 yr old kid Ariaudo was pretty impressive today... The two goals couldn't be prevented by the defence... out midfield was pathetic in the first half n a little better thn pathetic in the second... I thought with the kind of pressure Ariaudo was put under, he did a pretty good job...

Ariaudo is calm on the ball, nor did I see one long ball from the lad,he passed it out from the back in order for us to keep possesion seems a promising player thats for sure.

I'm not blaming him, I'm simply asking that he gets some time and less "overrating" by us...
ina ll honesty no one over here has over-rated him cryil. in all fairness the only one being over rated is tiago ( putting in mind its not entirely his fault it has alot to do with ranirie too)

I can't believe people are blaming Ariaudo. :lol2:
Hey, Molinaro and Marchonni became lame excuses so we must find new one :D

Btw Ariaudo was a little bit shaky but still good considering against who he played and with who he played. Maybe it's too early to count on him regulary but kid definitly have potential.
