Thought Cambiaso. Well wrong, I see; Nico had the final bad touch after receiving a useless pass from Cambiaso that is. Nico literally has zero options to pass to in that moment... Also the fact Cambiaso starts walking the second the ball is lost, sets off alarms. Could've easily put pressure on the man in possession to avoid this.
Cambiaso has looked like a cunt since the City rumors and deserves a slap in the face. But this is the match where I finally gave up on Nico and add him to the list of Luiz and Koop. He has been awful.
We now have 3 players in their mid twenties on long contracts that we can’t sell for anything remotely close to what paid for them. Which will result in us loaning them out year after year with some stupid option to buy clause that will never materialize. Maybe they can all play together in the Turkish league next year..

Nico and Koop have deteriorated for sure. But I could see Luis easily redeeming himself when he stays fit.

Doubt we're loaning out anyone of them too. We shouldn't. They're on acceptable salaries which is the difference with before... They are sellable unlike Arthur and co. Just not for 40 and 60m, lol.

Yet another completely unacceptable game. What is there even left to say at this point?

I think I'm going to take a break from watching our games for a while. It's just an annoying waste of time right now anyway.

Edit: The best team went through. I'm fine with that.

Nico is straight trash, he's no better than Osvaldo who was an April fools joke.

Luiz is an interesting case in that he has been mostly awful but he's clearly shown himself a good player elsewhere. I think he's too Lolzillian to train the way we do at Juventus. We should try and sell or swap him back to England.

Koopmeiners is somebody with enough to him that a talented manager could get him playing well enough to be a legit starter for us. If Motta gets another year we should try and sell or swap him. Issue is that the Atalanta fans hate him so he can't go back there. He has EPL written all over him imo.

If you have three players in their best years who have played very well/excellent in their previous teams and are being capped more or less regularly for some of the best national teams in the World, and then they all play like donkeys for their new team...

Perhaps it was Giuntoli who made the wrong choices (he definitely overpaid), perhaps all three players are simply bad players who overachieved in the previous years, but imo it's much more likely that they are not the donkeys. The donkey is the one who is supposed to coach them and get the best out of them.

Some fun facts about Empoli.

They had not scored a single goal since the last time they played Juve.

They conceded 10 goals in 3 games before today.

They were missing more players than Juve due to injury.

They still rested more of their regular starters despite having so many players out due to injury.

They could of easily won by 3 or more if they weren't so wasteful/ Juve weren't so lucky.
Where is the fun?

If you bring in a top performer in Premier League and a top performer in Serie A and they both become trash level players.. The issue is likely not on the players

A lot of people will probably disagree with me but I think that we now have a pretty good chance of winning League or at least challenging for the title.
Our schedule is really easy compared to the other title contenders. If we manage to win all our matches till the end we would be on 88 points which can win you the title.

I think if Motta pulls this off he can stay. If he doesn't it should be an instant sack at the end of the season.

We allowed a player named Joseph Salty who looks like a hybrid of Camoranesi, Estigarribia, and Jorge Martinez to score against us :sigh: :b81:

- - - Updated - - -

He paces in the living room,
Shouting at the screen—
Swears he calls the winning plays
For every losing team.

He’s painted in the colors,
Of squads both near and far,
Convinced his roar at midnight
Can sway the referee’s call.

“They'll hoist the trophy high!”
He boasts before each season,
Ignoring every scoreboard
As proof against all reason.

His fridge is stuffed with jerseys,
Each bearing pride and tears,
He swears the next big match
Will silence all his jeers.

But year on year, he rallies,
Believes his heart so grand—
Zzak El Mitnak—undeterred,
The world’s most loyal fan.

You miscalculated it, Mate
Maximum Juve can get is 85, which i don't think won't be enough againts Inda and Naples

I can’t believe people still blaming individual players when the above is true .

Dusan struggling. Cambiaso struggling. Nico struggling. Chico struggling. Yildiz struggling. Koop struggling. Locatelli struggling. Luiz struggling. Now kolo struggling after starting well. The multiple ridiculous injuries like missing 5 defenders for this last game.

It’s clear motta is the problem when entire team is struggling to perform

Damn, for some reason I though we had 13 matches to go. Oh well, I still stand by what I said. I think we have a small chance of winning the League if results play in our favor and we win all remaining matches

should have started with costa, adzic, mbangula, rouhi. then maybe he would have an excuse to draw with this pathetic opponent.
Agree
This Empoli was just beaten by Atalanta 5-0 and haven't won since 16 matches before us. They played mostly 2nd team player.

I still think Motta should have rotated. We also didnt rotate our players well after matches against Inter and played PSV. And now we played mostly 1st team player who are underperform in this match, even played both Kolo Muani and Vlahovic together. Should have Mbangula who start while Vlahovic rotate to bench.

Weah also rated not good in this match, should have Costa. Cambiasso also not good, should have Rouhi, and could even Adzic instead of McKennie
