    i want to take a short comment on this one....
    have u ever heard of TCO???
    TCO means total costs of ownership... --> the TCO helps to compare products as one not only has to pay the product itself, but after some time it looses value of course and don't forget the repairs...

    i've to agree that the price of a mac is more expensive (even not that much nowadays), but considering the TCO the windows' pc are more expensive anyway....
    because... 1.) u can use macs much longer (because of the quality) 2.) macs cause fewer problems and u don't have to take it to ur computer-company to repair it.....

    and about the apps... well at least they work!!! (and are the apps used by the pros...)
