I just read that CM4 will have 180,000 players. Most squads should have 55-60 players and smaller nations will be much improved (Lativa has 500+ players, India 1000+) (yes I know India isn't a smaller nation)

The min specs are going to be around a p3 600 with 64 MB of RAM. It will actually work on any Pentium machine, just not very well on slower ones.

Of course, faster processors, more RAM, faster RAM and faster Hard Disks will help preformance. But if you want to run all 50+ leagues, you will probably need a pretty imprssive machine...

Release date update
Tue 21st January 2003 @ 14:59PM
CM NEWS

We have today changed the release dates of both the game and magazine. The magazine will now be launched on Feb 28th, and CM4 will be out in March (date to be confirmed). This gives us time to keep tuning the game and make some more refinements - we make no apologies for the changes in dates, as the only thing that is important to us is to give you the best game we possibly can. Thank you for your patience and understanding. It WILL be worth the wait.

It is taking so long because they want to release an excellent prodcut, bug free. If you recall, they released CM3 early, it had a lot of bugs and didn't have nearly as many features as it should have. They are trying to avoid it this time around.

IMO this is completely ridiculous! Why don't they concentrate on making the game more interesting than including dozens of pointless pub leagues that nobody gives a monkey's about?!

I mean really! The Hong Kong league? whatever next! :groan:

if people in Hong Kong like this game, than I don't see any problem.

now, when they have Israeli league, more people from Israel will get this game.

i'm not sure if this takes the efforts for the big leagues, because probably they have crews, working on each league
