This will make all the Claudio Ranieri haters love him more.

  • We had an agreement with Werder for Diego a year ago but the deal was in doubt because Ranieri didn't want the player

  • We had agreements with Xabi Alonso and Van Der Vaart, but Ranieri blocked the deals and wanted Poulsen
Obvious lies. People don't like Ranieri and make up these stories. Sure, he didn't want Diego and Xabi Alonso. Yeah, right. What's next? He didn't want Ronaldo? A 25 year old Zinedine Zidane would have played for us again, if Ranieri hadn't destroyed our time machine?

Ranieri has Roma meeting
According to the latest reports, Claudio Ranieri has been spotted at the Roma headquarters alongside director Daniele Pradè.

The rumours of a change at the helm have been circulating overnight and it seems in a few hours Luciano Spalletti could be sacked.

According to several different sources, President Rosella Sensi held a meeting at the Villa Pacelli complex with director Pradè and ex-Juventus boss Ranieri for 90 minutes this morning.

When newspapers tried to contact Ranieri’s lawyer, Mattia Grassani, they were told he was out of bounds until 11.00 UK time “due to an important appointment in Rome.”

Ranieri’s car was spotted leaving the gates of the Roma headquarters at 10.30am UK time.

The Giallorossi have had their worst Serie A start since the year of their relegation in 1950-51 after two consecutive defeats.

Ranieri would consider it a dream to take over his hometown club, as he has never hidden the fact he supports Roma.

OFFICIAL: SPALLETTI RESIGNS
Tuesday 1 September, 2009
Luciano Spalletti has officially had his resignation accepted by Roma, who will appoint Claudio Ranieri today.

“I gave my resignation and the club accepted it, so we can consider our working relationship closed,” said the Coach as he left the Villa Pacelli headquarters at 11.55am UK time.

The tactician was said to be furious after the failure to reinforce the squad in the transfer market despite selling Alberto Aquilani to Liverpool for £18m.

Yesterday fans protested at the training ground and demanded his resignation after their worst start since the 1950s, when the team was relegated.

Ranieri is already set to take over, as he was in a meeting at the same venue with President Rosella Sensi for 90 minutes this morning.

Soon after the former Juventus boss had left, Spalletti arrived for a brief and decisive discussion on how to terminate his contract, which expires in July 2011.

Only the official word from Roma is needed for Ranieri to put pen to paper.

those idiots over at Roma's management forced Spaletti out and signed RUINeri, the loveable loser ??!!

This has got to be the funniest shit I've heard in a long time

RUINeri may win the first few games, but that bullshit "WE ARE ROMA" talk only lasts so long (we should know)

does this mean that we lose a few members here that all of the sudden become Roma fans ??? :shifty:
