We have every right to believe that Claudio is working together with Al-Qaida.
Claudio, Qaida, they both start with a K.

Knezevic was brought in on loan as emergency cover for Andrade, whose fitness was doubted at the time.

You may criticize the management for some of their transfers (and rightly so) but not the Knezevic deal.
Sadomin you have to be joking mate. Knezevic was signed permenantly anyway according to reports. Regardless knezevic is shit, there was no point in the transfer and he hasn't even played. We should have got stendardo again, or a young player, not this waste of space - In fact we should have got a good defender as a starter. It was a very bad buy and there is no excusing it.

Knezevic was signed on loan with an option to make it permanent.

4th choices the past years:

04/05: Montero (over the hill) was 3rd, can't even remember the 4th
05/06: Kovac 3rd, Gladstone/Gianichedda 4th
07/08: Initially Boumsong was 4th choice. After Januari, Stendardo was 3rd choice and we had no clear nr 4.
08/09: 3rd choice Mellberg, 4th choice Knezevic.

Can you see a pattern? We certainly should have got a good starting defender, but Knezevic was clearly brought in as a reserves' reserve. For that role, you don't really need anyone better than Knezevic.

But my argument is that Mellberg/legro should have been 4th choice, so it is clearly a transfer blunder. Even still signing this guy was terrible because of how bad he is, he could even be worse than boumsong!

If I would have been offered this guy and I was manager I would have politely declined, if the board wouldn't allow me to get a defensive starter then I would look for a talented young defender.

Knezevic was not needed at all.We paid for nothing.

Jorge Andrade and Poulsen transfers were same.We could not get our primary targets and we bought these just for the sake of it.

buying new players just for buying someone is way of our miserable directors.

I would give an arm, a leg and Tiago for Sanga.

Any word from the media about sacking this doofus?

As I said, when we LOANED Knezevic, Andrade had just returned from injury. We did not know whether he'd remain fit or not so we had to get someone in for a worst case scenario. Knezevic was free and available on loan. You can blame the management for not buying a quality starter, but not for getting Knezevic. The choice was never between buying him or someone very good.

Wait, you'd pay the 5-10 m Lazio wanted for Stendardo? And you blame the management for getting Knezevic for less than 1 m?

Well you can say we loaned him all you want but we bought him, he's signed a 5 year contract, he rejected a transfer to torino so he could sign for us. And no I wouldn't have for Stendardo, I would have loaned him again and paid his wages, he's better than Knezevic.

Lazio wouldn't have agreed to that, and there would have been no point paying for Stendardo as 4th choice.

And have I missed anything?

"After signing Mellberg, and De Ceglie's return, now it's Dario Knezevic's turn joining the side. Born in 1982, in Rijeka, Croatia, he played for Livorno last season and is here on loan, with an option for Juve to buy out half of his ownership."

We never released the details of the transfer but there were numerous reports that came out a few days after the deal saying that we had signed him permenantly. We'll see next year if he goes back to them or not. Either way he was a useless addition I would rather have promoted Ariaudo and saved the money
