Claudio Ranieri is a footballing terrorist. He's hijacked the team and holding players such as Giovinco hostage for the betterment of nobody. He's not unlike the 9/11 hijackers as far as I'm concerned. Knezevic was brought in on loan as emergency cover for Andrade, whose fitness was doubted at the time.

You may criticize the management for some of their transfers (and rightly so) but not the Knezevic deal.

We should have got stendardo again, or a young player, not this waste of space - In fact we should have got a good defender as a starter. It was a very bad buy and there is no excusing it.

Jorge Andrade and Poulsen transfers were same.We could not get our primary targets and we bought these just for the sake of it.

Knezevic was free and available on loan. You can blame the management for not buying a quality starter, but not for getting Knezevic. The choice was never between buying him or someone very good.

Well you can say we loaned him all you want but we bought him, he's signed a 5 year contract, he rejected a transfer to torino so he could sign for us. And no I wouldn't have for Stendardo, I would have loaned him again and paid his wages, he's better than Knezevic.

Lazio wouldn't have agreed to that, and there would have been no point paying for Stendardo as 4th choice.

We never released the details of the transfer but there were numerous reports that came out a few days after the deal saying that we had signed him permenantly. We'll see next year if he goes back to them or not. Either way he was a useless addition I would rather have promoted Ariaudo and saved the money
