Ranieri: 'I know Juve's problem'

Claudio Ranieri says he knows “what is behind this situation, the problems and the causes. But I’ll only talk about it at the end of the season.

Juventus have hit a brick wall over the past few weeks, falling 10 points behind leaders Inter and caught by Milan in second place as well as knocked out of the Coppa Italia semi-final by Lazio.

I know what is behind this situation, the problems and the causes. I don’t want to discuss it now. I’ll only talk about it at the end of the season,” said the Coach.

Right now I am only focused on doing well, winning and securing second place.”

These comments intensify tension around the Juve camp, as Ranieri’s head is on the chopping block after fans wrote an open letter urging sweeping changes.

I am someone who has always fought and dealt with problems by battling on. I try to give all of myself to achieve second place and I am convinced the team wants that too.

“Nobody has disappointed me and I am certain that among the players there is nobody swimming against the tide. The team is giving its best
.”

The midweek Coppa Italia elimination meant Juve are likely to end the season empty-handed and the level of the performance also upset supporters.

I think I am an intelligent man and if I have been in football for 40 years it’s because I can fare in any sea,” he added.

When the water is churned up in a storm, you need to keep quiet and focus on action. I stay in my place and take care of the facts.”

The pressure is on Ranieri against bottom of the table Reggina on Sunday and he is well aware of that.

Juve need to start winning again after a poor period of form. I expect a reaction from the whole squad, not just a few individuals.

“Reggina are gambling with their last hopes of safety, we have our pride at stake. We must go there and be angrier, hungrier than our opponents.

“I was not disappointed by the performance against Lazio, as the team gave its all. We’re trying to do everything we can.

Nicola Legrottaglie has not recovered from a flu virus, joining Giorgio Chiellini and Dario Knezevic on the sidelines, so Lorenzo Ariaudo partners Olof Mellberg in central defence.

Imagine Ranieri saying this at the end of the season

"I know the problem that killed Juventus this season, but I won't tell you. Let them appoint another coach who will be here for another 2 years to find it out because I have just resigned"..."goodbye".

That would be the stuff of legends.

I know what he's gonna say:
"Juve's problem is that they've won way too much in the past, and got spoiled. I'm hear to fix that. Winning is for devil worshipers."

do you like being an idiot ??

If RUINeri gets fired, will you leave here too ??
he might feel for a moment only, but you feel all ur life and no one complains

much better than being a whiny c*nt

for however long he remains, what matters most at the end is that he is the Coach of Juventus, so he must be supported...or let me guess, you are probably one of the asshole fans who want Juve to lose so that we can get rid of him

easy guys, there is no need for all this tension. the forums have never been this split in ages. why cant both parties just understand how the others think. i can understand that some people here wish juve lose or stumble so that the current board leaves along with ranirie. thats there choice and i dont believe it makes them any less juventino than others.

in the same way the people who show support for the team and want it to win and solidify its chances of maintianing the second position should also be respected. it def does'nt mean they love ranirire or the current board but it just reflects how passionate they are of juventus. they really dont want us to lose infront of a team fighting against relgation.

there is no need for bad blood between one another. both ahmed and vinni are great posters. each one has the right to have his on style of expressing his feelings about the current period of performance.

yes vinni can be negative at times but there is alot of truth in what he says, may be he says it as raw as it comes to his head but its his honest opinion.

the same applies to ahmed, he loves this team and def wants the best for our team even if that involoves suppourting molinaro, tiago etc etc as long as they wear the black and white shirt they are juventus and at all times he will support them

so there is no need for any tensions between u guys or between any other people who seem divided on how to speed the recovery of our beloved team juventus.

I know you fuckheads hate Vinni, but he does tell the truth. You're just a bunch of pussies without any foresight.

Describing our elimination in Coppa as a blessing in disguise is far from longing for defeats.

You are right. Vinni wanted Juve to lose and because of that we lost
If he had been on our side, we would have been in the CL semis now
