BTW Jose will never come to Juventus, and do you know why?
We dont have money to spend on players he would want to have (also they might be real flops, not like some of ours who can just get ruined)
you know what? GOOD! because i dont want our club to spend the little money we have on a manager who is only going to parade us in a media circus and still cant get the results we desire for it.

denco you must be oblivious to the fact that we conceded even WITHOUT an extra attacker on the pitch.

imagine we had subbed off a defender or midfielder...
Your point being what? Before the game were we likely to succeed? Of cos cos against quality no matter how bad they play with our team we will always concede.

The whole point of the 2nd leg cos of what happened in the 1st is scoring 2 goals and the shape of the team was meaningless.

It seems to me that you and others are staisfied that we went out as long as we were not embarassed because Chelsea have a Russian billionaire while we are just coming back from serieB.

It is bad enough that we are out of the champions league but we now have column inches about Trez that is not warranted , why because the manager, the president have all come out in the media to talk about something that could be handled inhouse.

For Ranieri to say the squad is upset with Trez is very wrong and if it is true that they are all upset because of this then I am sorry to say they are silly.

@Red you say ppl are having a go at Ranieri no matter what well it is the same with Trez. He has spent 9 years here and still there are those that dislike him and using that to have a go.

When Ranieri has earned the right to garner the kind of respect that Trez deserves then we can talk.

How many times have you seen Capello go to the media to answer back his player?

Why could he not say that Trez is just upset that he got subbed, he loves me really and then deal with it inhouse?

Instead he talking about Trez the man not the player and all sorts of nonsense

Jose Altafini

"I think the problem this season with Juventus has been many injuries,"

"Camoranesi, Nedved, Amauri, [David] Trezeguet. There are many players who have been out, and Juventus will need to look behind them as well as in front.

"I think a team with so many injuries runs great risks. Milan could over take Juve in Serie A if things get worse for them.

"They will be missing Amauri. I think he was also angry after he only played little in the Champions League [against Chelsea].

"I don't know. It's an embarrasing situation to be honest. Juve will need a miracle with so many injured players."

What happened has happened, no need to insult Trezeguet. He's a Legend and just like any other player he made a mistake...that said, we should also(Juve fans) forget about this incident and look forward, I'm sure everything is going to be solved.

I just hope Trez doesn't feel the need to react to CRs reaction and then it will get ugly. What is important is that Trez realizes he made a mistake and the next time he plays scores a hat trick as part of his apology:D

i agree that he is a legend and we do not need to insult him, BUT I HAVE AN INQUIRY.when capello was at juve del piero used to play as a second choice and whenever he used to start in the first eleven he always subbed with IBRAHIMObitch and del piero never stated something like trezegeut did ? why ? and it was not only one time as it was with trezegeut, but it was for 2 years.i think it was trezegeut immaturity. :flag3: :flag3: :flag3: :flag3:

Plus for someone who dont know this :del piero made a record for being subtittuted 16 times in 32 games for a serie a campaign. HE NEVER SAID A BAD WORD TO CAPELLO (IN PUBLIC)NEITHER TO THE MEDIA.ONLY AFTER HE LEFT THE TEAM THEN HE EXPLAINED HIS SADNESS FOR THOSE 2 YEARS UNDER HIS ERA

so, RUINeri feels he has to get even by going to the press as well....

as the coach/manager of this team, shouldnt he be a little bigger than that, and handled it by pulling Trez aside and talking to him away from the cameras ??

I'm not saying Trez was right, dont misunderstand, but I think Trez feels the same as many players towards that loser, and let his feelings be known

One thing about Ranieri, is that he usually is professional in his interviews (with the exception of a few comments, such as the 'Chinese Ref' one - which he clarified, but it still read to me like a slip of the tongue and then a cover up... although I guess because he's been pretty good, I should probably give him the benefit of the doubt on that one).

This reaction to Trezeguet was definitely not what I expected from a pretty classy coach (even if I have issues with some of his decisions). I know he was upset, and he has good reason to be, but Claudio's response was unprofessional and has really helped to blow the situation out of proportion.

Trez was upset after the loss, he made a mistake, and I'm sure he knows it now. I fucking HATE the bickering through the media, and when it's 2 people on the same team, it embarrassing. I mean, these guys see each other just about every day; handle it like men, in house. For me, Ranieri calling Trez a spoilt child and then whining to the media about him is pretty fucking hypocritical, given the circumstances. Anything you can do poorly, I can do worse? The coach sets the tone for the team, and I just don't appreciate him calling one of our legends a spoilt child - especially after that player has just worked his ass off coming back from double knee surgery, and is clearly just a little emotionally imbalanced because of his extreme disappointment.

Totally agree. Ranieri & the president ganging up against Trez through the press is just incredibly childish & unprofessional. I hope this does not indicate how our club will be run in the future.
