Why can't players and coaches keep these things behind closed doors?
Actually I do not mind it as it shows that at least 1 players is pissed at going out to chelsea.
Id rather read that than read players talking about how much passion they gave after losing a game.
It is not the 1st time that Ranieri has had a public spat with a player as Chiellini comes to mind so I do not know why he is acting like it is the first time.
Ranieri like a lot of Italian managers are far too ready to give youngsters a chance if they are defensive rather than attacking unlike their Spanish and English counterparts.
The likes of Santoni and Marchisio are allowed to play so many games but Giovinco and Balotelli are restricted and every mistake they make is blown out of proportion then they are benched for old-timers.
Look at United with Scholes and Giggs, there are no doubts legends at that club but they do not play a lot of the games unlike how the likes of DP and Nedved have been afforded here.
I am not being disparaging but 34 year old DP and 36 year old Nedved should not be playing the amount of games they have played this season from serie A, coppa italia and Cl whilst the younger players are warming the bench.
Just a short word on Xavi Alonso, was it not Ranieri that said he was too slow and that is why we did not go for him?
Liverpool were waiting for us to buy his so they could have funds to buy Gareth Barry but because we did not pursue our interest they did not have money to fund both Keane and Barry so went for Keane.
I do not know who should be the next manager cos there are too many that I am not fond of but the 1 thing that I am sure about is that if Rafa Benitez became manager, we'd hate him like a muthafucka.
You think Ranieri makes eccentric decisions? Rafa is even worse as he is as bizarre as they come when it comes to subs and his rotation policy would send most Juve fans to the bottle.
Those that hate 2 holding midfielders would have to put up with it cos Rafa would not play without it.
With the amount of money that Liverpool have spent on players, they are premiership record is not good enough and at the crucial times, Rafa will find something to moan about with the board or something else that will distract his players.
I have learnt from experience that you can admire a manager from afar as I did with Capello but until you see him work close up then you can really judge how annoying most of his decisions are.
I used to really like Mourinho as well until he came to Inter and started playing 9 defenders in each game and I went off him.
The likes of Conte and other past Juventus players that some have bandied are well and fine but as Cronos has said unless we have a rich array of quality players there is no way they are going to succeed as with Guardiola at Barcelona, all the tools are in place, all he has to do is harness but he is doing a great job to be fair to him thus far.
