Wow! Another beautiful scene, Ranieri lovers are disrespecting Juve legend Conte now. AMAZING
All due Juve respect to Conte. But a good player doesn't always make a good manager. At least yet with Conte.

To take the reverse tactic, while we may have much love for Lippi, that doesn't necessarily mean we respect his play as a midfielder at Sampdoria in the 1970s.

What are you implying about Conte here??

Look, you gents, should have known by now, that i am not a CR fan:cheesy:
But, i believe replacing him with Conte would be a grave mistake...
What Conte, would possibly offer, CR cant??
Experience?? Vision? Prestige? Superior tactics? Influence? etc
Every time a teams change a coach, the formation, some key players and tactics, they are bound to suffer, for a period of time, until they recover and fully adapt to the new tactic scheme.
Why would we risk that, since we are not going to gain any significant advantages?

Milan dont mind that, they have resources, more political influence and Berlusca actually needs a puppet to serve and obey him. Someone who is loved by the fans, but not more respected by himself. Someone who wouldnt ever dare to defy him!
Thats why, i was sure he would never be able to tolerate Jose.

But we have different priorities, we need someone proven, experienced and influental. Someone who would guide this clueless helm...

He would be great. However, if he leaves Liverpool, I expect him to go to Real Madrid.

Also, there has been trouble at Liverpool about how much control he gets over transfer. Would our Board be willing to give him the control he wants?

I really struggle to come up with top class coaches that I consider a realistic option.

Just wanted to tease you Red, i dont see us able to lure Rafa either.
We would be a great step backwards to his carrier...
But i dont want us to take unnecessary risks, just for the sake of it.
Conte is hardly a step forward, why would we sacrifice our stability, for an empty promise??
Not mention that there are chances that Conte could be proven as a major flop, we simply cant afford this now and it would also jeopardize Conte's coaching carrier.
Let him prove himself first. Atm we need someone with great exp and vision.
Our board has decided that CR is that money and they are willing to sacrifice our current winning chances, in order to achieve stability and let CR set the bases for a competitive team. I was strongly opposed to his selection, but the choice is already made, there is no turning point now...
I can only hope that we will find a better coach to lead this competitive team, when its done (after the five to fifty year plan Secco and co have in mind)...

experience wise conte is hit or miss, i mean he can either be van basten, or what guardiola seems to be showing for barca.

Vision - he is young and being a juventino he shares the same vision and ambition as every other juventino

influence - as a former juventino his influence will be great, this is the former captain and midfield general understands the club and how its run

but like every other big name manager's they started somewhere and eventually got their big break, thats why i said give it a year or 2 and the way conte is progressing i think he could be an ideal candidate for the future.
