What are you talking about there snoop?

We lost 1-0 and we played 4-3-3 at home...what's wrong with that?I don't get it...I know we don't have so many quality players but you say you wanted a defenisve formation? Why?We'd fail that way.

We gave our best and Chealse was not any better. We played like lions and it was just a lack of more quality players that made us fail last night...maybe not even quality but we lost a lot when Nedved came off.

What do you want me to say? "I told you I was right"? and you still want to convince me I am wrong? This was my biggest fear (to play 4-3-3) and it happened. I don't want to write the same things again, just read the last 2 pages, and read what I wrote in the other Chelsea threads 2 weeks ago. What's with everyone defending Ranieri these days with all the huge mistakes he keeps doing, and you too Dusan? :D

:) Becuase I was actually happy with this one.Tacticly wise I didn't like some things but I'm sure we wouldn't have had any chance while playing some other formation.

If Nedved didn't pick up that injury it would have been different.Ranieri made and he will still make some mistakes but I will not bash him for this one.

That's because you are writing with emotions, that's everyone is doing these days. I am criticizing his tactics, and not the performance of the players or the club. Huge difference.. And saying we couldn't do any better than this is a non-sense, we were not playing against Manchester United or Barcelona you know? We played against a team that recently sacked their manager for bad results, no matter how many stars you have, if your team (Chelsea) doesn't play as a strong one unit, then you have the chance to beat them, just like we beat the great Galacticos and Barcelona at their primes, we didn't have better squad than those. Oh and those who way overrated our victories against Real Madrid, probably realized how great they really are, after getting trashed by Liverpool by an embarrassing results like that..

Not emotions but when draws came out I said it'll be Chealse who'll go through. In this case changing their coach was one of the things that killed us.You will see some members here that said we'll get pass Chealse but they said the opposite when they changed their coach.

Real sucks...I always said it will be Liverpool that will go through in that one but they are just 5 points behind the great Barcelona.

More excuses..

The thing is we are always scared of "Big" teams, while in the reality, teams are only bigger on papers, this is what I learned from football the past years, small teams surprised the big ones a lot. It all depends on luck, tactics, morale and performance, these play big role in the game along with the quality of players you have. And for most of the time, we lost because of tactics, but sure sometimes we lost points because of luck and similar things, but the reason we lost against Chelsea is the tactical factor, I wasn't expecting neither to get passed Chelsea, but when I see these mistakes that costs us games that we could win, that irritates..

Real sucks...I always said it will be Liverpool that will go through in that one but they are just 5 points behind the great Barcelona.
so? :shifty:

wow! too much bullshit is flying in the air in the forums these days, everyone praising Ranieri and making him a hero. You lose 1-0 away, and you play 4-3-3 home? Give me a fucking break!! I was scared of this 2 weeks ago, that we play offensive, and the comical Ali did it!! See the difference between Lippi and Ranieri, remember how we killed Barcelona and Real Madrid years ago? This is how you kill opponent, with TACTICS, something Ranieri lacks.. We should have played for 1-0, against one goal we should have scored 3, but yet we conceded two goals.

It's pathetic that we have a huge talent like Giovinco, but the comical Ali prefers to keep him on bench, and he plays Salihamidzic instead
As for strikers, he takes off Iaquinta, but he says later he was tired, ok let me buy that bullshit, but why do you take off Trezeguet ffs?? And as for Zebina, I don't know if he was injured or not, but why we didn't use him?? If he was fit, then that's another rubbish decision..

Firing Ranieri will be harsh? yeah give me a fucking break.. Another year with him means one more year to waste..
Absolutely true..i wouldn't like another year go to waste..
i think ranieri's last chance is the scudetto..he needs it if he is to stay with JUVE...

I think there is zero chance of him being fired this summer. He has led the team to the CL 2 years in a row (assuming we get it this year) and has looked good in the CL and delt with an injury crisis by getting good performances out of young players and squad players

But there is a very good chance he will go next summer in 2010 when Lippi will be done with Italy, after the WC and assuming we don't win the CL or Serie A next season.

you can't play with 3 attackers front when you have Grygera - mellberg - Chiellini - Molinaro at back and specially if you lost 1-0 away, this is not a league match. We tried and failed, end of!
That's not correct. We were containing Chelsea well until the lucky ball from Lampard. Sometimes it is luck which determines the game which is the case here.

Yes thats is just genius Marchisio, Tiago and Poulsen in a game we had to win by 2 clear goals.

Who voted Molinaro Juve's best player and how many people voted that are not his relatives?

Formation? who gives a monkeys when you are going for goals. Please far too much emphasis is placed on tactics and formation. There is nothing wrong with players attacking and defending as a team. The place was jumping and Chelsea were on the ropes but as usual we let up and they score cos they have enough quality to score goals.

United and Roma did not let up and got 3 each, anyways we are out and for me will never win anything with mentality such as this.
I did it as a joke, on an otherwise depressing night ;)

Denco is right, Molinaro's family must have had something to do with it

I really hope we bring Lippi back when he is done with Italy. But I dont really want a coach other than him so we will have to wait a year then maybe he will come back. Prandelli might leave though.. he owuld be good.

All the same. We never killed Barcelona. We scrapped by them with the skin of our teeth. Lippi is a great coach though but we did have struggles under him too.

Are you implying that ranieri = Lippi's Class ? considering on your statement that we are struggling under ranieri and we did have struggles under Lippi .

Don't mention Prandelli in this forum , many peoples thinks he's overrated :D

Doubt this will happen, i can bet on ranieri staying here for another 2-3 seasons atleast....
