Second place are the key words in your post. Especially looking at the transfer budget at his disposal with Chelsea leaves me even more unimpressed. Don't get me wrong. Ranieri is a decent tactician and I do give him credit for establishing Juve at the top so early after getting demoted and stripped on players. But as of today, the team should be ready to take the next step. Ranieri has shown he is not able to do this. We're stuck playing absolute shit football, grinding out points and wins with the least of margin every time. Because he is a coward with a losing mentality. The man simply lacks balls.
Spending money doesn't translate to winning... To take the team to second place with all the new faces is a very good achievement... You would be naive to claim otherwise... And you have to remember that the Arsenal side of that year was most probably their best in recent times...

Oh, and I think Jack was being sarcastic...

so, who is that coach with balls than?
And do you prefer playing with balls loose game or win and play average, with average squad with half of team absent cos of injuries..

Last season was great achievement, wouldn't you agree?
But this season we are even better..

i will quote headline from one italian paper

"Juve, what figures!
Napoli beaten, Inter under pressure and a team improving
Four points more than at this stage in the first half of the season
Five points more than last term
Six points from the leaders"

I know what a pussy mean. I was asking who the pussy refers to(Ruinieri?) or if so, why.

I don't see why we are playing bad football. We play the most direct football among the top teams. In less than 5 passes, we transit from defence to the opponent's penalty box, and surprisingly(maybe not), we create a lot of chances, although we lose a possession often too, because that is the drawback of playing a direct system. We do not play a passing game like Liverpool or Arsenal because passing isn't our player's forte, but causing maximum impact with the available chances is. The tables don't lie.

He bought the core team for Chelsea. Unfortunately, because the the club's wealth(and need for immediate success) due to the arrival of the Russian, he has to pay a lot for reserves like Wayne Bridge, which makes his transfer record look poorer. We should be glad that our reserves are free rather than costing tens of millions.

Ranieri wants Cassano or Silva
Monday 2 March, 2009

Juventus Coach Claudio Ranieri has given the clearest indication yet that the Bianconeri will move for either Antonio Cassano or David Silva this summer.

The Turin giants are eager to replace the 36-year-old Pavel Nedved who retires at the end of this season after eight years with the club.

Juventus have drawn up a shortlist of players capable of filling Nedved's position on the left side of midfield that includes Cassano, Silva, Diego and Franck Ribery.

When asked if the Bianconeri were considering Cassano and Silva, Ranieri replied: “Yes, we are looking for a man who will give us a jump in quality.

We are working towards being great again,” Ranieri told Controcampo. “To buy a player today is difficult when you consider the costs.

Cassano is a very good player,” Ranieri explained before giving a more detailed assessment of Spain international Silva.

I have known him since he was a little boy. I put him in the first team at Valencia. Even then you could see what kind of a player he would turn out to be.”

Ranieri then spoke about the future and how Juventus can overhaul Inter and get back to the top of the Italian game.

The reality is that in the last few years Inter have managed to build a great team and we have to build one, too.

There is now a great club here, there is the structure, but there isn't the Arab, Russian, American or even Italian money to help us.

Ranieri later responded to criticism that his Juventus side win too many games in an ugly fashion like they did against Napoli on Saturday.

I am satisfied with the win. We got back from London at 5 o'clock on Thursday morning and were back on the pitch on Saturday evening.

I said to the team that it suits me fine if they win and that's it. That's enough, even if they win playing badly.”

When they criticise me as if the comparison were with the Juventus of three years ago, it's a great satisfaction for me, because if I had the team Fabio Capello had…”

Juventus currently lie second in Serie A and still have a shot at winning the title. Inter's lead at the top of the table was cut to seven points at the weekend.

There are just 12 games remaining this season and the Bianconeri are back in action on Saturday when they take on Torino in the Derby della Mole.

everyone makes mistake, even you and me..Some make same mistake over and over, some of us learn on mistakes..

U say, "Thanks for all the losses record"

we have in seria a more points than last season, and we done better in Coppa so far, plus there is still CL..
I think we all done very well, but as always we could do better..

few notes..
Last week even Ancelotti's team was leading 2:0 in UEFA, but when he made 2 subs, results turned different. Now they are out of competition..

Did this same coach made also subs at 3:0 at half time against Lpool in finale of CL. and lost it due to bad subs..

There are 100's of bad example's i could give it now, but i really can't get bothered..

I care that we support players and coach as much as we can and hope that few players will get to theirs best..even if to some of you our coach is looser, and players - not worthy of Juve shirt

Would you rather play pretty football and not win?
The thing is, none of us (I hope) are asking for champagne football Arsenal or Barca-style. We don't have those sort of players. We do have players with enough ability to play way better than what we are though. Remember the game against Roma at home this season, that is exactly how we should play.

- Strength lies not in defence but in attack.
Adolf Hitler
That's wrong, Hitler. All champion teams are built from a strong defense. We can't have Molinaro and Grygera as starters if we want to win something.

Ya but the 2 players you just mentioned(Molinaro and grygera) are both part of the attacking aspect of defense.
