I still don't know why he didn't use the 3rd sub....
the world will never know
Wasent Poulson the 3rd sub??
Marchionni for Camoranesi
Amauri for Iaquinta
Poulsen for Sissoko

Did you sleep while watching, denco?
maybe they were thinking about, why not earlier to make 3rd sub, when we scored 2nd..

Anyway, answer is, if he did that and made substitution 15 minutes before everyone would say that he's done so good last night and in that case no one would complain..

This way , everyone is happy..People like me, who would be happy with 3 points are smiling, and the one who always looking at something to say against the "thinkerman" are still at it.
I just saw reply of game , and i can tell you that Gio was ready to come in when we scored..
But as we know Gio did not play..That was cos Momo asked to get subbed as he felt pain, that is all..
There is always some good reason, and no need to complain always, same as when some did complain when they saw Trez was captain, but we know that story as well..

A manager is supposed to give the team trophies. If he doesnt do that, then yes you can hate him,but saying that you'd hate him even if he wins trophies at the club doesnt show anything but biasness and a weird personal grudge against the man.
A manager is supposed to get the players at his disposal playing at as high a level as possible.

If the squad isn't good enough to win trophies, it isn't the coaches fault.

Lampard:

"It'll be very special to see Claudio again. I love the man,"

"If it wasn't for Claudio I might not be where I am now.

"He brought me to the club, improved my game and showed me another side to the game.

"As a West Ham boy I was narrow minded and didn't know the continental style and the way to live my life.
Different way

"Claudio brought me to Chelsea and showed me a different way and I've nothing but gratitude for the way he helped me.

"He made John (Terry) captain at a young age, signed William Gallas and Petr Cech. He took us to the Champions League semi-final and was a huge part of what we went on to achieve.

"No one's got a bad word to say about him here, which shows you what a good man he is.

"I'm very pleased at how well he's done at Juventus."

Right, we all know he made JT captain, he signed Lampard, Joe Cole, Wayne Bridge, Petr Cech, Damien Duff, Petit, Gallas, Glen Johnson and Claude Makelele.

He clearly has an eye for players with great potential.

But just watching that interview with him on BBC...I found something out.

He was the manager at Napoli...HE was the man to raise Chelsea's greatest ever player. GIANFRANCO ZOLA!

I'm sorry but this man needs more credit than some CFC fans give him, not only did he give us the backbone to our championship winning team and the backbone still today, but he also basically gave us our greatest ever player!

The man was a legend in my eye's but with the Zola knowledge now, he's almost a God!!!

Lets see how Hiddink says first, but if he does leave at the end of the season Ranieri would be the best replacement.

It's easy to look solely at his positive contributions and forget the negatives. You're forgetting about that troublesome night against Monaco; a game we really should have won on paper. Furthermore, he wasn't given the nickname 'The Tinkerman' for nothing. He frustrated Chelsea fans as much as he pleased them, that's for sure.

Saying that, I loved Ranieri when he was at the club. Our victory at Highbury in the Champions League is one of our greatest ever moments in Europe. Not once did I ever want him out, and I was sad to see him go.

It'll be great to see him again tomorrow.

Ill be cheering him and anyone I doubt their will be anyone booing.
Dont forget it was him who made sure Roman took us over, Roman only wanted a team playing CL football and that last day of the season win against Liverpool got us in to the CL, therefore making him partly respnsible

I admire and respect CR for what he did at Chelsea, but we have stepped up a gear in managerial terms since JM's brief tenure.

Hiddink looks positive, but only short term, so Rijkaard looks like the man who gets my vote at the minute.

I hope he gets a great reception at the bridge tomorrow....I remember his tears when Bridge scored the winner against Arsenal in the CL quarter final....awesome moment.

I've never had an argument about Ranieri other than one or two of his inexplicable substitutions. The things that earned him his Tinkerman tag.As far as I'm concerned he's earned a place in the Chelsea hall of fame

Just wish Roman had given him at least one season with his money to play with, we might have gone all the way
