ye the whole the best defence is attack is a load of bullocks, so what do you do against the counter attack? if attack is the best defence that is.

To be honest Ranieri made stupid comments after Coppa Italia game and even my computer (which is made in China as well as my printer and scanner) is offended and as a results it generated few bugs this morning, maybe as a protest. My mobile (also made in China) is also unhappy and woke me up 5 am this morning. Considering that every 5th person on our planet is Chinese, it wasn't good idea to compare that referee to a Chinese as a reference to the skin or the lack of understanding of the game. I watched the interview and Ranieri was looking as he had smoked grass or something. He was on high. :seven:

And let's just face it. Ranieri is a cool ganja man but he often loses the control of the game. Mind you that CL game between Chelski and Monaco, when his team was humiliated by 10 Monte Carlo men. I like the old man but he should apologize to the Chinese people and computers ( my computer insists) and clarify his tactics before Torino and Chelski games.

If you ask me, Ranieri did wrong with Sissoko substitution, the Mali guy hadn't his best game for sure, but having no real defensive midfielder on the pitch ruined the balance in the team which resulted in two conceded goals. One out of Amauri or IQ should have been replaced by Giovinco, considering the situation.

Anyway, as many pointed out, nothing wrong has happened yet, we can go to the finals and win the first Coppa since 1996 or something.

i think he's talking about the match with catania...ranieri turned the game by putting poulsen that scored the winning goal.
That decision by Ranieri was absurd anyway. Suppose your team needs to win and you bring a defender in for a more attacking player, then the defender scores from a corner kick. Would it justify your decision to reduce the attacking power of your team? Would it make your sub to a golden sub? Hell no.

i know i know..i had a debate with amaurisimo about that...ranieri was going for the equal but the team started to play better and they attacked more..catania drew back...the stats prove it(shots on goal..possesion)..the part that poulsen was there to push the ball was a pure coincidence.
