Blanc: Ranieri Will Stay
Juventus director Jean Claude Blanc has insisted that coach Claudio Ranieri will remain at the club for the foreseeable future.

The coach at times has come under heavy criticism recently for Juve’s dip in and out of form. There were rumours in the Italian press that he could be replaced if the Bianconeri failed in their bid for a Champions League place.

However Blanc has given his coach the full backing, insisting that the Tinkerman will stay at the club for at least two years.

There are absolutely no discussions for Ranieri,” Blanc told Sky Sport Italia.

“I am responsible for having chosen him and I reaffirm that he will stay on Juve’s bench for at least the next two years.

“I know that there are people who are interested in him but he knows he has our complete trust.

“We will continue to work on our long term plans. English clubs for example enjoy success in Europe because they have long term stability and vision when it comes to their coaches.”

Juve are preparing for the game of the season when they clash with league leaders Inter at the San Siro on Saturday night. It’s sure to be a cracker and no doubt Ranieri will be hoping his side can obtain maximum points as they chase the Champions League places.

Yes, ranieri is our long term coach.
I saw that on goal.com - guys we are doomed!!!
All accounted for - ranieri is not that bad, but he is much further from good. We should settle for CL groups and CL spot success in the following years.

Getting a full backing from the BOD is so normal at this stage of the season...
come the end of the season, and its another story...
no doubt, lets play the waiting game :gsol:

if we are lucky enough to win tomorrow, then you can bet the bank that we will lose our next 2-3 games with this fool in charge
i wouldn't be surprised if we go L-D-D our next 3 matches starting with inter tomorrow :faq2:

but as far as fans are concerned if he wins sunday against inter and gets a CL spot that would be equivalent to winning lo scudetto. my 2 cents.
not to be a pessimist but more of a realist, i doubt we will steal 3 at san siro tomorrow. its highly unlikely even though rivalry games are a different type of animal.

most of our players don't even realize the historic importance of this match/rivalry. and i'm pretty sure our own coach doesn't thus reflecting on the new kids on our team who can't grasp it either.:frown:

as always its up to our vets... if they are even in the lineup
