Finally to see something good(formation AND subs) from Ranieri.

The bad thing is that it took him 27 matches to realise that though.

And yet again he will probably screw it next match.Hopefully not though.

Coach Claudio Ranieri spoke to SKY following Juventus' 2-0 victory away to Genoa tonight.

"I was curious to see our reaction in this game, to see how concentrated we would be," he said. "The lads played a good match, they started with the right mentality of a big team who wants to get a result. It took me eight months to understand that [Zdenek] Grygera is a good left back, but that's OK.

"I cannot blame my players for anything, from the start of the season they are trying to win every match. It can happen to have a wrong match. We are Juventus and we have to give our all in every match."

Concerning midfielder Tiago's performance: "Tiago is doing very well, he has integrated himself better, so I did not have any problems bringing him, and he did very well today. He is convincing me during trainings and he could play from the start next week."

On the team's attitude, he said: "I'm happy about this because if we play compact we create problems for many teams. In our best games we have always been very united and compact. When we are not united, we are not ourselves and the opponents cause us problems."

Concerning the criticisms aimed at the squad over the last week, Ranieri said: "I accept criticism when it's right and I agree with it. If not, then I don't consider it. That's just part of football."

On the situation in the standings: "We always have to look at ourselves. In the second part of the season you get a few points less, there are some moments when you can lose some ground. We are still building the fundamentals, making our plans, sometimes it snows and sometimes it rains but that's normal."

CR tells to Juve loyal fans, to remember where we were last season???
How foolish of him, we were here last season, was he??
He dares reminding us about last season?? What an idiot!!!

Unfortunately for him, we were here even before that,
we have seen what this team's material is able to do when its full potential is used,
unfortunately for CR, we have seen better coaches than him.
Unfortunately for Juventus, we know what is best for Juve, more than CR does...
its that kind of arrogance C-Ra doesn't need to display. he's not making any friends in turin these days nor is he keeping the ones he may already have.

now can we finally stop calling him names and change the title to this thread
fuck that

just change the name of this thread, not that I believe that our coach is that awesome but it is beneath our dignity to call the coach of our beloved team bad names
we are fans of the greatest Italian team, La Vecchia Signora is a classy lady
there is no need to lower ourselves with that kind of trash

Name changed.

Im glad we won,but im slightly amused at how everybody was trashing him when the official formation was announced(I did so too),and how everyone is praising the formation and the subs now.

I think it was an Ok formation, but everything fell in place for the team last night.Had we lost, everybody would be cursing Ranieri for fielding Grygera and Sali on the left flank.I dont think its a formation that can be used regularly.Sure Grygera had a good game, but we all know his natural position isnt that of a left back, and this is probably a example of how playing a player out of position once can have good results, but use him out of position more, and he'd start to suck.

I agree. Too bad a lot of people here need a 2-0 win to be reminded of that. That's what i call 'fans'!

This, to me, is proof that there are some people, who just don't think before they post here. I read really bad things about CR, and even our players. I just think that's not right. After a win, everyone is happy and after a loss, everyone wants to see heads rolling... that's just not how it's done. show some damn respect to our team, no matter if it's made out of 11 molinaros or 11 del pieros

I really don't see the point of constantly calling for another coach
do you really think Mourinho would do better than third with these players?
I doubt it
before the season started I think we all agreed that fourth would have been a good position and we are in third so...

It`s not everything in position.Maybe we`d be 4th but we`d have some playing style and good tactics, thats for sure.

Even if we`re third whole season we`re struggling with some teams that should be easy 3 points for us.And most important thing is that whole season we are playing bad football. If you watched Juve matches this season you`ll know what I mean.

This was the first time that he did everything right. You think that`s normal?

Lets now see how long can Ranieri keep up doing something like this.

I know it is all far from perfect but again what more can you expect with this group of players
I don't like the tactics either but we are in third so he must be doing something right
my point is that with this material third might be the best obtainable

When I read that we have to win every match I bursted with laughter. That is really naive and stupid to say. And one more thing, every time we lose a game, a lot of poeple go berserk and start talking bullshit.

It's quite annoying.

Most of them no.

Do you except someone to be tranquil and happy when we lose a match?
