Coach Claudio Ranieri spoke to SKY following Juventus' 2-0 victory away to Genoa tonight.
"I was curious to see our reaction in this game, to see how concentrated we would be," he said. "The lads played a good match, they started with the right mentality of a big team who wants to get a result. It took me eight months to understand that [Zdenek] Grygera is a good left back, but that's OK.
"I cannot blame my players for anything, from the start of the season they are trying to win every match. It can happen to have a wrong match. We are Juventus and we have to give our all in every match."
Concerning midfielder Tiago's performance: "Tiago is doing very well, he has integrated himself better, so I did not have any problems bringing him, and he did very well today. He is convincing me during trainings and he could play from the start next week."
On the team's attitude, he said: "I'm happy about this because if we play compact we create problems for many teams. In our best games we have always been very united and compact. When we are not united, we are not ourselves and the opponents cause us problems."
Concerning the criticisms aimed at the squad over the last week, Ranieri said: "I accept criticism when it's right and I agree with it. If not, then I don't consider it. That's just part of football."
On the situation in the standings: "We always have to look at ourselves. In the second part of the season you get a few points less, there are some moments when you can lose some ground. We are still building the fundamentals, making our plans, sometimes it snows and sometimes it rains but that's normal."
