Ranieri ends Scudetto hunt

Claudio Ranieri concedes that Juventus’ Scudetto hopes died with a draw against Sampdoria, but he remains delighted by his side’s campaign.

Despite a host of near misses, Juve were unable to break the deadlock against Sampdoria and fell 12 points behind leaders Inter after the Nerazzurri fortunate win over Parma.

While the target for the Old Lady has always been Champions League qualification rather than the title, Ranieri had been willing to dream about an unlikely Scudetto until now.

There is real gap now and you couldn’t close it in six months or even a year,” the Bianconeri boss stated on Radio Anch’io Sport.

You could say that we missed the train for the Scudetto, but in reality we just need to focus internally and build a base for next year.

“We are still having an amazing campaign. We had an exceptional first half and we hope to repeat it.

I have always said that Juventus was hit by a calcio tsunami and we are rebuilding.

You can’t always be winning and we need some patience as the sides that qualified for the Champions League a year ago are reaping the rewards.”

Jackass coach and jackass statement. I wan't glad with his appointment but I was never against him till the last few days. First he is saying that we are want to compete for the scudetto (which was highly stupid) and he is relying on succes we had in first part of season. The most stupid thing is that if he admited that we have no chance for Scudetto why he also didn't admited that we need few new faces and that we can't always rely on Pavel, Alex & co.

BTW I've red that we are going to loan Boumsong whichi is beyond stupid no matter how bad he is cuz in case his loan we are officialy without back-up defenders :wallbang:

i won't buy that because i think ranieri is the problem and any other good manager can still make him a success;scolari, mourinho and houllier. and as far as i remember ranieri destroys good teams, he destryed valencia with his stupid purchases of di vaio and corradi and now he is going to destroy juve's present with almiron, sissoko and some stupid substitutions. and for him saving parma; after seeing what g.rossi is doing for villareal i will accredit rossi will all the praises. parma survived because of the individual brilliance of rossi.

what i think about ranieri is that he doesn't take gamble and has no intution when it comes to managering. for me he can read a game but can't write his own game. unlike lippi for instance. in the wc lippi played grosso out of nowhere. just the right man at the right place at the right time. ranieri imo would have played zambotta on the left and panucci or oddo on the right because people are more familiar with it. by the look of things he plays players by seeing their statistics.

bottomline ranieri sucks. get him out.

yesterday before juve match , lippi was talking about the match and that he spent 10 years as a player with sampdoria and a lot of years with juve , the important thing

HE SAID HE WANT TO BE BACK TO JUVE IF THE MANAGEMENT CALLED HIM BEFORE APRIL SO THAT HE CAN PREPARE THINGS FOR THE NEXT SEASON.
Are you sure, cuz this is HUGE, although there is nothing mentioned about that in any football gossip site nor Al jaseera sports site, not even Goal.com

you are bit stupid or just pretending to be one, as

- Our board will not do that unless we go to 5-6th spot very soon
- Changes are not good in middle of season
- Dont think anyone would do better with this squad and with little or no squad improvements no one will expect it more
- no good coach will take this Juve in the middle of season
- signing petition will not help do get rid of Ranieri..

by talking like this you will do more damage than good.
think about it
- THIS IS VERY STUPID statement !! Forums are places to place opinions. Damage becomes only when you are trying to explain everyone to have YOUR opinion!!

There is nothing stupid in my disappointment of how Ranieri makes Juventus look.
And this is not just because of the latest results. It is the way Juventus play.

What coach is making such stupid choices of players?

I will not try to explain all of his bad moves, which are everywhere on posts around here. We had so much luck, we could have been 5th or 6th very easy. But luck will not be there for us all the time.

And I say RANIERI is no good for Juventus !!!

And many fans who are with Juve for 10 and more years agree on this, so try not to insult anyone here...

Ranieri ISN`T coach for Juventus but...It really is hard to hire a new one at the middle of the season.I think he will leave but untill the end of the season he`ll stay here, sadly. We did score alot in the last minutes of the games but you can`t say we would be 5th because refs screwd us alot also.

He thinks Tiago failed to prove himself so he will be sold and we`ll buy Sissoko as his replacement...
so we replace a failure for sum1 who shouldnt be a footballer. ffs the idea is to replace the shit with quality the dipsh*t of a board!

Boumsong might leave us but Mellberg will join us.

again replacing the sh*t with more sh*t we might aswell try and get costacurta out of retirement and get him to replace birindelli

Lippi declared to Al-Jazeera that he would consider offers in April if he recieved a call from a BIG European team (he didn't mention Juve in specific).

Maher is just acting as a tribalfootbal journalist, that's all.
Thanks for clearing it up , well Secco should suck his dick to convince him to come back to juve, it will be his biggest achieve in his useless career (Secco's of course)

Ok my dear friend.

So your proposal about signing an petition against Ranieri its not a stupid comment right now in the middle of season, with some of best players injured true whole of big part of season.
You said this is not a game that Juventus play? Well you dont have good old Juve anymore thanks to mafia which by the look you still missing.
He doesn't have much choice in regards to players , most of creative stuff is injured and now we are lacking some defense as well.
And we are not lucky as you say..Check last few games and see how many times we failed to score ..not to mention few games we lost or draw thanks to poor decisions...

But wait, there are two games against Inter in very short space..For sure we are underdogs and most probably we shall loose..I hope not.
So why than you show us how furious you can be in regards to coach.

PS. I saw in your profile that u are PS2 lover. Why dont u go and chill out for a bit..
As long we have players and coaches like Ranieri and Tiago, i will support them. When they go..ok, there is someone else to show respect ..Until than, just take it easy please..

i was lead to believe mellberg is a world class defender who is gona win us the champions league.

oh god i wish didi was still manager and brought in the players he had requested :faq1:
Yeah, and didi is santa and will definitly brought players he requested. Are you really that dumb, do you think that Ranieri didn't wanted best defender, midfielder or attacker. We got almost the best we could and that has nothing to do with Ranieri. He could also request C. Ronaldo, Terry, Gerrard but would that mean he is better coach or that we would get any of theese players. DD can talk now when he is not in charge, but just to remind you he "brought" Boumsong...
