It is nothing to do with defending someone or not, it is about right and wrong
Then what do you call this?

I think that Roma have better squad than us at the moment. Yes, they had injuries, but we had them even more. Whatever you might say, i think that CR is better than Spalletti and with the same squad CR would not fight for 6th place but for one of top 3.

I did not promised, i said maybe just to tease you..Do you really think that i would go with CR and to join another team? He is not my father, but he deserves more respect than you and some others are showing at the moment.

Cronios , would you expect coach to blame his players even if they know its their fault? He did not have Inters squad full of superstars that can blame them as they could up their game , but us, our defenders cants do better..We collapsed when we lost Momo and Chello on occasions. Rest of our defense is rubbish mate.

I tell you to get off my back and to enjoy your life peacefully

I think after the season he will say things or two..

We played like real team in CL, maybe we got overconfident if there is expression could be used

Numbers are important..Man won lots of it..So people should not bash Capello this much still.

but i "defend" even Molinaro and Marco... Are you going to look for my posts about them now?

Don't you really think that CR should not get bonuses based on written contract?

In 99% cases i agree with you, but you are just wrong this time.

No he doesn't deserve to get bonuses, his contract says that if he were sacked he would get salaries until 2010, he got that and afterwards he can just soap it. Bonuses for what? For the record he matched lately?

You have a source for this or is it based on the news on c4?

I saw some report on channel 4, maybe its true maybe not..

Only thing i said that, if it was written in contract about bonuses etc. than he should be reimbursed. But if not, of course he can soap it.

But than again, do you think that he is so stupid and that he will call lawyer if everything is right?

When i sign my contract, i always know what i sign, and im sure he knows and his layers too..I am not on anyone side, but again, what is right should be put that way..

CR knows with whom he is dealing with, he knows that this board is incompetent and if he sees the opportunity to make more money out of their stupidity, he will take it!

Sounds like this is just a question of interpretation of a clause in the contract.

Means that it will be lawyers sorting it out and not Ranieri and the Board. :)

Before media were talking about bonuses, but now I think CR want to be released from contract and that is all.
CR wants to get probably new job this summer, and wants to pick up what its own to him ie wages for 2009/2010 but Juve doesnt want to release him until end of contract.
Something similar to Manchini contract i think..

It is normal when you have actually achieved those goals and objectives. He won nothing, and therefore should just get his compensation and walk away.

It's like getting fired from your job for not hitting the targets, and achieving the goals and objectives that were set forth in your contract, and then demanding the payment of your compensation in full in addition to all the bonuses that you perceive you are owed. It would never happen in the corporate world!
it looks like that you don't know much about business and how it works unfortunately.

If one of the goals was securing CL place, than at the time he was sacked we were in CL, so automatically it means that he DID achieve that. If another goal was to pass group stages or to play in semis of Italian cup, than he also achieve that..

So legally he is right and no one can take that from him. Just look at Mancinni's contract as another example.
Are you still defending him? how long will this last?
in all fairness he is probably right, Ranieri's contract would almost certainly have been targetting CL qualification and top 4 with added bonuses for each improvement on final league position

I think that he already took 3mil and the right to sign with another team.
Asking for a second salary and second bonus, apart from the one that he will take from his future team is too much!

That would also mean that we wont be able to afford a better salary -> better coach next season...

Finally he is gone! But to be honest, he is good at starting up and building a project but he is not a winner. At Valencia he started their project and Hector Cuper took over and did really good with them and the same thing happened at Chelsea were he started their project before Mourinho took over and made Chelsea champions. Now, if history repeats itself then our next coach should make us champions! And for that, thank you Claudio.
