But that isn't the question.

The coach shouldn't be compared to Ranieri who is/was a temporary measure.

Next season, for the first time since Calciopoli, we should be in a position for a serious title challenge, so we need a coach who is up to winning a scudetto.
this board will have you believe that he is the coach of the future here, and seeing how inept they are when it comes to football, I dont see them sacking him for anyone else

I completely agree with you! Next season we should start talking about winning major titles, and at the moment, I don't see any realistic available option, that could replace Ranieri, so let him stay.
Start to blame the players and not just the coach!

Five year plan, Vin. :p

Ranieri is just there to build the side as we gradually get stronger.

funny how people call for lippi, who just showed that he is not in a proper state of mind to coach a team. the last international match was not the first of his tactical mistakes (subbing pirlo). you blame ranieri for his rigid 4-4-2 and his overplaying of nedved, while lippi does always call up international crap players like di natale who will bring you exactly nothing against good teams, instead of playing your favourite giuseppe rossi... lippi is clearly not what we need right now and looking at it right now, there is a big question if the wc2006 success is more down to lippi than to the squad as unit

Bringing Lippi back isn't the solution Albert... He is a part of our history and a glorious one at that... But I wouldn't want him as our coach...

I want someone young, Italian and with a winning mentality :D
