Nocerino. What a useless pile of garbage.
Yup, that's what Ranieri is actually saying and i think some here misunderstood him.
He isn't saying that selling Nocerino was a mistake and that he'd gladly accept him back. He's just saying that he's sorry Nocerino had to be sacrificed, but it was well worth it because in return we got someone much better and much more important.

The Christmas holidays are over. Football for 2009 is coming to life. Even though the first appointment is a friendly match it is notwithstanding this an international appointment against Monaco and Juventus will be re-starting their engines while awaiting the first official commitments.
In Messina the bianconeri will re-taste match mode after a two week break from the last match. «Before the break we were going through a really good moment – confirmed Ranieri during the press conference -. Now we must re-start the engine to go on with the same rhythm. It is for this reason that we organized tomorrow’s match, to return back into championship mode. It will be a good training session for everybody».
That “everybody” incorporates Buffon, Poulsen, Salihamidzic and Zanetti, players who were forced to watch their companions from outside the field in the past months. Counting Tiago and Camoranesi who have also recovered and Trezeguet who is on the launching pad, the coach can be satisfied by the fact of having the whole squad at his disposal. «During the first part of the season we were missing great champions however those who replaced them kept us from feeling their absence. Surprised? No. When we laid down the plans for the season, we discussed the players which could be useful for the three competitions and these choices proved to be right. They all did very well and a good first part of the championship which won us a good position in the table».
Now we must continue on the road we took. Finally Juventus is complete again and will try to have its say in all the commitments scheduled.«The complete squad can render more, we can improve further and keep up with the rhythm of the final two months of last year. This is not the time for declarations and dreams but of facts. We must be quiet, push and produce the maximum effort.
