We were heavily punished by "ref mistakes" while Inter were given a proper foturne cockie with mistakes going on their favour. If that would not have been the situation Juve would have been on top. From a really average squad. Many thanks goes to the our heroes who stayed with us in Serie B, but I think Ranieri deserves part of that thank as well whether we like him or not.

yeah i remember a while ago they put a report on goal.com saying that if there werent any ref mistakes then juve would be at top with more than 3 point difference and inter drop to second...so yeah it is mostly ref mistakes..and yeah at the beginin of the season ranieri did do an awesome job but we started dropping points were we shouldnt and in games like against milan luck wasnt on our side because we should have deserved to win that game 2-0....

Well you really cannot blame the guy for the long list of injured players.

What happenned from ref misatkes whether it was on our favour or someone elses this is something that happens in football. I do agree that lately Inter's share and our share of ref mistakes have been going in a different directions, we should not mawn on it and put all the blame on the ref. Why are we waiting for the ref to award us a PK (although deserved) when we can perform better on the field and create more chances.

I think if we did not get the number of injuries at the back we would have been in a much better state. Imagine Chiellini playing as an LB again.. I am wishing fr a game where I see our LB (whoever he is) manages to cross a ball correctly :faq1:
It wasn't by a chance we got to our current position in the league. The whole team played hard adn silenced all the critics after the Serie B.

yeah! If it wasn't the referees and all these injuries, I am sure we were leading with 20 plus points, or they would announce us champions already. Or they would relegate us to Serie B because we are too strong for Serie A teams.

Lippi: This Juve Side Resembles Mine
Former Juventus coach Marcello Lippi heaped praise on captain Alessandro Del Piero, whom he believes will play for many more years at the highest level.

Lippi was present for the commemorative ceremony in honour of Gianni Agnelli, where he commented on his former team and their performances.

"This Juve side is similar to my first Juve," declared the World Cup-winning coach. "It was the group of the 'older' players to push the others, who went after them very well, and it was Ranieri who was able to spirit.

"From a great anger, a great determination and desire, a return to winning ways was born," he added.

Lippi praised in particular Del Piero, who grew up under his wing.

He enthused, "He will continue playing for many more years and he will amaze you. He will stop much later than expected because he likes to work too much on the pitch and he does this meticulously."

there you go. either lippi thinks his juve was bad or this juve squad is good enough to win the championship. which team has champions and leaders that juve has now? del piero-juve's capt; iaquinta(ex-udinese captn), chiellini(u23 captn), andrade(ex-portugal capt) not to mention the camoranesi and the buffon- world champions. saying roma is better than juve is a blasphemy.

dude chill out.. noone is saying that we are the best team in the serie a. We have an above average squad with a not so well management (till now at least)..

What I am saying is, providing the things put against us this season, injuries, finances, and even bad ref calls we aren't doing so bad. Ranieri is not the best coach in the world but for the salary he's taking I think he is a bang for the buck.

are you really serious with what you wrote or u r just kidding?
only similarity in between those teams is a passion and determination of our players to win games..btw Chiellini, Camo, Andrade were injured for quite some time, and we relied on Legro who would not even be in starting 11 for most of you in here at the start of the season together with Molinaro and few others.

Agree on that, the determination in this team IMO is the highest among teams in serie A this season. This team just need's 2-3 quality signings, a new couch and we'lll be pretty decent team .....

I have a question for you Lampard. Do you enjoy doing well in the league but not ever winning anything? I mean, taking into consideration your history and all, I was just wondering.

I respect Ranieri just because of one thing.Because he took charge of us when no one wanted to.But after half season I (still) think he`s not good coach for big teams...Here we go again.Ranieri is bad for Juventus...Why?

1)He`s talking too much
2)Because he doesn`t know how to make good formation
3)He`s in love with Molinaro and Nocerino so no matter how bad they are they will always play.Especially Molinaro.
4)He don`t know to make good subs.He did that just once and that is sad.
5)He`s destroying our players. He destroyed Almiron and didn`t give him a chance to prove himself after being of the best players last season in Serie A.He also destroyed Palla. He keeps forcing him to play fuc*ing wing!
6)Again he`s talking too much and destroying also Juve future. How?He keeps talking sh*t how we don`t need VDV and Diego. He`s talking all that crap just because he wants to bring fat Frank here who wants 7mln euros per season. Is a god or something?

People keep saying how we look good so far as standing 3th and that`s true but we are playing terrible.Match after match its the same sh*t.
Refs did destroy us I agree with that...How many points we won because of Del Piero and some others...

I don`t care when someone tries to defend Ranieri and says "Whats wrong with him?We are 3rd"...Do you people actually watch Juve matches this season?
Perfect example how we play is match we played last weekend against Udinese. It was just fu*king pathetic. And now if we beat Roma people will start defending Ranieri and that would be wrong.

Also, some people are stating "He is not good but he should stay untill the end of the sesaon" , that`s also not good to say.
I think 90% that we going to be in top 4 places. That means Ranieri will stay as coach since he "completed" his task. That way he`ll stay , buy few more DMs and buy his fat Frank. We`ll again play long balls...Main point is..

I do not want this man to lead us next year in CL.

If and when we finish in top 4 places I`ll just say my thanks to our players.

Don't get me wrong, I am not saying Ranieri is the coach for Juve or that we should not think about another coach for next season. All what I am saying is people here are talking shit about him and about his formations. I do agree he chickens in many conditions. He is not very creative. But lets think about it, who should he play as a LB when we don't have CBs and even our LB who was playing as a CB got injured? I know Molinaro SUCK, but who could he play instead? Nocerino, he is a proper fighter. He wins balls. But he is a terrible passer. Who should we play instead of him? Taigo? Who chocked in almost every match he played? or Almiron who played more than Tiago just to prove he is not any better? Then we were hit by the injury of both camoranesi and Marcchioni who will play as a RM? he tried Nocerino but he sucked there so he kept him in the middle and put Brazzo there, who wasn't brilliant but was the best possible solution. Then he opt to play Palladino there.
And its not also like we can play with different formations alot. There are many times where Iaquinta was not ready to play or Del Piero is tired, or Nedved is suspended. I beleive Ranieri had to do alot of tough deicions this season.

I do agree he is enjoying the press attention very much, too much to be precise. But besides that, I think he was cut short due to injuries. I personally had high hopes on Almiron, who really disappointed me.

I raise the question, do you think if Capello was coaching us this season with this formation we would have done much better than under the Ranieri command? Because the last time I checked we weren't really that impressive techincally under his command with a much better squad (+ age of common players).
