No not at all. Capello is one successful mother focka.. But he is no champion's league coach. He is a nemro uno League coach but a not so well as a cup.

He is not creative as Lippi (but then again Lippi is one of the most creative coaches in history). And his football style is very boring. He caused problems in camp something we never had in the past. And was stubborn enough not to play his best forward in favour of his beloved " Van baston"

So personally, I am not a big fan. But yes he is a successful coach.

Some statements are called mind games. This could probably be one.You go out saying that the other team is better just to get them cool down inside while your team is fired up.
We have passed the half way mark and I think with what we suffered during this past period from injuries and bad calls we are doing alright.

About the squad, as you said.. We are JUVENTUS not LAZIO nor ROMA nor UDINESE. Our squad should be at least twice as good. We are meant to win the Scudetto and compete at the top levels in the CL.
Our last two seasons in the Serie A under the capello management we had arguably one of the best squads if not the best squad in europe.
We won the Serie A twice but we simply chocked in europe.
Just to remind you of the squad we had:
Buffon, Zambrotta, Cannavaro, Thuram, Ferrara, Pessotto, Zebina, Chiellini, Vieira, Emerson, Blasi, Balzaretti, Camoranesi, Mutu, Ibrahimovic, Trezeguet, Del Piero, Zalayata, Nedved.
We had those players when they were 3-4 years younger than what they are now.

Compare both squads and tell me again that we have a decent squad now.

i agree with you man the squad we had was the best squad in europe i remember my friends envying me for the squad but i always said that if we had another coach during that period we would have kicked ass in europe and won the champions league...and i know that our squad is not the same juve squad we had but it really resembles the juve squad we had during the 2001-2002/2002-2003 squad...and with those squads we kicked ass...and i really think that another coach with our squad can do better than what ranieri is doing to us...

Mind you the players in common were 5-7 years younger. So no, the squad above was one of the best in europe. The squad we have now is an above average serie a squad.

To Andy, Dule, "U2", and few others with basic or no knowledge about this beautiful game and rest of the guys who would do anything possible to knock coach, player, management , even support other team in order to achieve what they want.

Sometimes you guys hear only what you want to hear or know. To some of you further explanation is always needed, and im not really here to have argument with any of you.

I joined this forum as i love football and as i find it quite entertaining after my hard day at work. I joined here as i heard rumor about Lampard who is one of my beloved players as well as i thought it would be great to meet some guys from ex Yu and that is all.

Anyway, I will not post in here any longer as I feel that i dont deserve treatment by some of you. Of course i will keep reading news and i will check on you , as we all have something in common.

If we get 2 or 3rd place at the end of the season , or by any chance if we win coppa , i will start with posting again and first thing will be rubbing nose to some of you..
