4 home grown, 4 association grown, 17 rest. If we let Marchisio go we will have one home grown (Pinsoglio), so the maximum players we can have in our CL squad will be 22.
thank you - he probably said that but his post was confusing.

Unfortunate if he leaves. Hope he stays, wish him the best.

Come to DC United, my little prince.

sorry for the confusion, we discussed the rules countless times. it's like @icemaη wrote: 17+4+4, so it's settled.

Un cl list rugani counts as a Hg player right?
no, it's for the serie a list. in europe, only marchisio and pinsoglio would count as hg.

One of my favorite players of the juve renaissance era. If only he hadn't been plagued with injuries, he would have been a consistent starting XI player these past two seasons.

I wish you the best anywhere you champion. Forza Cheesio!

that's the point. we lost buffon and licht, barzagli will start his last year, we'll only have chiellini from the old guard for next season (which will be his last year probably). it's almost a completely new, barely italian team, with only a few players with any ties to juve. since forever, we always had at least a couple of players with strong bonds to the club, so we need to be careful not to rely 100% on mercenaries.

This would fucking suck.

It would also make sense, sadly.
But this is also true.

gotta cut players for the CL list again
Smart way of going about things.

3 if not 4 of those players might form the future spine of the team

We also have Mandragora who is developing along nicely and we could make an attempt at Chiesa next year

We'll have a solid young Italian core in the next couple of years. These things should happen organically. You don't stack up the squad with Italian players just for the sake of it. Quality > nationality. Once Italy have a good generation of talents coming up, naturally you'll have more Italians at Juventus than we do right now.

I love having Italians in the squad because of Juves rep and Italian players often preferring to stay in the league, it gives us amazing consistency. But the most important factor is how good the actual player in question is. By all means stack our bench with Italians but do not compromise our quality for some nostalgia trip. Our own academy produces fuck all really.
