Even on some absolutely retarded rumor you can't stop bashing the club. Why is it so difficult for you to resist? Do you realize you give off the impression you want something bad to happen so you can be there to pounce on the "I told you so's"?
Why is it absurd? We all thought the same with bonucci, for some reason I think allegri's man management skills needs to be in question here if such stories have an element of truth and given the way bonucci and alves departed this summer I wouldn't be at all surprised if there is some truth behind this. We'd be stupid to completely dismiss it

Go read what Beppe said on FI. He basically said football is like show business, and Bandieras don't exist anymore. I think the club/management mainly care about the bottom line. They form no attachments, and there are no affinities. We are a professionally run club, and I honestly don't really think there's this family atmosphere and love that used to exist in the past.
That is an interesting angle, we are no different to other clubs.

Why do you think I've been saying for a couple years that football is a business now, that's why I don't let myself get emotionally attached to players i.e.Rab with DP :D

It makes everything a bit easier to swallow ( @Albertmare ).

It doesn't bother me anymore like it used to. Actually, for a while BD was turning over a new leaf then he relapsed. :p

Seriously BD. There are better ways to get your points across without making it seem you have this hidden desire to prove everyone wrong by something bad happening.
I have no hidden desires but on the same side I'm not delusional to think everything is perfect with this management like some on here at lead to believe. There is something very wrong with this management and I'd like to think I was wrong but I'm not dismissing the idea

Milan enquire about Marchisio?
By Football Italia staff

Milan have reportedly asked Juventus about the sensational possibility of signing Claudio Marchisio.

According to Rai Sport, Milan have made an enquiry for Marchisio, who is unhappy with the treatment he is receiving from Max Allegri.

The shock speculation first emerged on Monday morning, when Gazzetta dello Sport suggested the 31-year-old was no longer indispensable for Juve.

However, MilanNews notes the Rossoneri will not proceed with their pursuit until Marchisio asks the Old Lady for a transfer.

Milan have already deprived Juve of one stalwart this summer in Leonardo Bonucci.

Why mention Albertmare and swallow? :shifty: :p

I guess I should listen to Deneb/Gordo when it comes to football/soccer. When we met, he told me he'd lost interest in European football and that for elements of passion and romanticism South America is where it's at. I think I'm starting to understand what he meant. This summer, more than any other, has shown me that loyalty/affinity/attachment mean nothing in European football. It's a sad state of affairs.

I don't think there is one person on this forum that thinks everything is perfect. In all honesty, I'm probably the closest to that and even I know better to think that they are perfect. I could talk all day about the things we did wrong, I simply try to look at it from their point of view (the clubs) and not as a fan that knows literally nothing about what happens when there are no cameras around.

I personally find it difficult to believe that a player who's the epitome of sacrifice such as Marchisio, would complain about "his treatment"

nah.

Leo and Claudio got fed up of losing finals, so they both went to the highest paying domestic team that has absolutely no chance of ever playing one. Problem solved.

Well, I quoted you and I need to mention him so you guys can both get the idea :touched:

X is right about the romanticism. Europe is a revolving door with money powering everything. In SA, you don't get the salarlies/fame/marketing like you do in Europe. Down there is all about the love of the game. Jump the pond and it becomes about something else.
