Will he be back after International break? Midfield definitely needs him.
15 days should be sufficient I think .And a week he is already out that makes 3 weeks.First game we play against Empoli .I think we can manage even without him but also Khedira will be absent for that match. Then we play Bbbilan so he need to be ready for them.

Marchisio: 'Juve final push'
By Football Italia staff

Claudio Marchisio wants Juventus to maintain the intensity after a 1-0 win over Empoli, “as this is the final push for the Scudetto.”

Mario Mandzukic scored the only goal this evening to keep the Bianconeri at least three points clear at the top of the table.

“I really wanted to play, but I am certainly not at 100 per cent yet. I reached the 90th minute with a lot of intensity, so that’s good,”
the midfielder told Sky Sport Italia.

“It is important tonight that we got some players back from injury and earned three precious points.”

Empoli actually had more possession at the Juventus Stadium, but Marchisio assured it was part of the plan.

“In the second half we sat a bit deeper, but Empoli didn’t create a huge amount. Empoli play good football and always take the game to their opponents, no matter who it is.

“The key is to always have this energy and determination to fight for the result to the last minute, which wasn’t easy with so many players returning from international duty.

“This is the final push, there are no more breaks or distractions, so we need to power through for the Scudetto.”

Never mind him not scoring any goals, shouldn't a Pirlo replacement have more than one assist in 30 games?
Ah Pirlo, the defensively incredible inferior davids replacement ?

Playing in the same team as Pogba, who should score ALOT more goals beeing the Platini replacement ?

How is our current Nedved replacement doing ?

And what about the poaching of our Rossi replacements ?

Because, a team doesnt evolve and change the player roles and formation. Nope, you are someone's replacement.

Never mind Pirlo. But shouldn't a starting midfielder have scored at least one goal and had more than one assist in 30 games? Khedira has scored 4 and provided 3 assists in 2 games. Even Lemina has scored two goals in 5 games.

Neither Khedira nor Lemina are attacking midfielders. Is Marchisio having a bad season or is he purely being played as a defensive midfielder where his only job is to tackle and intercept?

Both of Lemina goals were only two times he played RCM box to box, same role Khedira has. Other times Lemina played DM and never threatened because he never joined attacks. Same thing with Marchisio, it's that simple, he sits in front of defence. Khedira basically an AM with his movement forward.

That said, Marchisios long distance shooting is God awful. Wtf is he doing in training.

When we didn't have Cheesio at the beginning of the season our Team sucked hard. Against BM, Pereyra, Hernanes and Sturaro were never be in the field at the same time with Cheesio fit and we wouldn't beind so fucking nerveous last 20 min. In the second half...

Today, Cheesio at 70% is better than all our others MF, only Pogs is better than him

There was a moment in which Rugani fucked up and put Marchisio on a bad position between some Empoli players that quickly pressed on him and he broke free with one or two movements, does somebody have a gif of that?

Marchisio doesn't do the darting forward runs to get into goal scoring position because he is cleaning up at the back. Marchisio without the ball is just as important as he is with the ball except when he plays with the flu or coming back from injury. Hopefully he regains full fitness for the Milan match.
